Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

• Experience in leading and managing a team of product engineers in an Agile
environment
• In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries, such as Spring, Hibernate, etc
• Solid understanding of core UNIX/Linux concepts, systems administration, and
networking
• Proficiency in relational database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Advanced tuning knowledge in operating systems, MySQL databases, and networking
stacks
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, or Angular is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like
Kubernetes

Responsibilities:
Assist and support Azure Cloud environment
Liaise with service providers to ensure that operational processes (backup, patching, provisioning, monitoring) for service follow-up and incident management.
Improve operational efficiency via use-case definition with the Automation Engineer
Responsible to support Group Technical Risk to ensure compliance to all security requirements and standards
Able to support of non-standard cloud services that might not be covered in service provider contracts

Ideal Candidate:
More than 5 years relevant experience in Cloud Engineering / Support role
Microsoft Azure Cloud background is a MUST
Excellent understanding and proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration and operational support in a multi-site enterprise environment
Relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS etc) will be an added advantage
Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
Understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code configuration management tooling
