[WTS] Mueller Ankle Brace

If you're currently active in sports, especially 'high impact sports' such as football, futsal, basketball and badminton, chances are you've more or less had some form of injury due to bad landing, improper footwear, poor surface, excessive physical exertion or plain bad luck during your games. In any of those games, you tend to suffer from muscle fatigue, knee joints pain, shoulder pain, ankle sprain or muscle tear. In short, SHIT HAPPENS, whenever and wherever.

To REDUCE the risk of such injuries, you either equip yourself with the right gears OR pray really hard. Whilst not all of us pray very hard before our leisure games(that could turn into an injury nightmare outing), the least we could do is to put on some gear to minimize the risk of injury. Bear in mind, the keyword here is reducing the risk, not alleviating it altogether. From my experience as a leisure futsal and badminton player, the highest risk during these games is what you call the ankle sprain. The one where you land on the outside of your ankle and hear a snapping sound. Yes, that's the sound of your ligament partially tearing or if unlucky, completely snapping. What follows is the swelling or ball effect on the ankle, followed by reddish and later on blue black.

Again, to reduce the risk of sprain ankle, i'm introducing Mueller Ankle Brace as below. This is unlike most ankle brace you see in your neighborhood Watson store where they're cheaper and offer very little if not no support at the ankle area. I used to wear LP brand ankle support where it's a rubber/latex sleeve you put on your ankle. At best, it offers compression but certainly not support or preventing a nasty sprain.

The Mueller ankle brace is a one size fits all brace where the level of tightness is adjustable thru the Velcro straps. When you wear it the first time, it might be a little tight and reduce your range of movement but once you get used to it, it will reduce your risk of an ankle sprain and absorb impact due to accidental kick to the ankle. You may use it on either foot.

I'm currently a user of this ankle brace and without sounding like i'm promoting too hard, it's the best and most value for money ankle brace that I've used. Don't get me wrong, I've used the rubber/latex ones which doesn't really last that long as it'll lose its elasticity. I've used the Adidas ones where it will cup both sides of your ankle and all it does it to protect your ankle from accidental kicks. I've even gone to the extent of using the shinguards that comes together with ankle brace. All of which are no match to the Mueller ankle brace. I'm selling this at RM 125/pc.

I think I don't need to emphasize the cost of ankle sprain if you see a sports doctor not to mention the healing and rehabilitation time, physiotherapy visits and inconvenience caused due to your lack of movement. I think RM125 is a small price to pay for a gear that would last a long time if you wash it and not lose it.

For the time being, i'm only doing COD's at Kelana Jaya/Damansara/Subang area. The only reason is that when I COD with you, I could at least show you the correct method of wearing them (and also to prevent people from chasing me for the goods in transition if i courier it). I'm contactable thru PM on this forum and have access to the forum the whole day, so replies from enquiries are generally on a daily basis.

I'm looking to introduce more injury preventive gears from time to time. And you're assured that these gears have been used and tested by me or at least my circle of friends whom I play sports with. Stay tuned.
