Why universities in Malaysia tend to be sprawling?

I wonder why many universities in Malaysia tend to have faculties all over the campus in a large area, a faculty at the entrance here, then some faculties in central, another one at ulu corner. If you unlucky, you probably have to ride a bus between classes. Why can't be cluster together? Which university has the worst layout? Come discuss, I want to hear the /k thoughts.

Does coriander leaves taste weird to you?

Curious to know how many people actually adverse to coriander. Growing up, my family never use coriander leaves, then when I started to cook my own I ended wrongly buy coriander leaves instead of parsley (daun sup). The food I put coriander ended tasted horribly to me, the smell was bad too.

At first I thought it supposed to taste that way, then I stumbled upon that certain people have a variation of olfactory-receptor genes that allows them to detect aldehydes, a compound found in coriander that is also a by-product of soap and part of the chemical makeup of fluids sprayed by some bugs.

Sadly I never able to enjoy any Tom Yum or Thai food with fresh coriander leaves, since the bitter/stink bug taste would haunt me.

TLDR: If coriander leaves taste soapy/bitter to you, you likely to have the taste genes that able to detect a compound that make it bitter. Roughly 4-20% of population have the genes. If not you just don't have the genes.

Write down the dairy product brand if possible

I tried to put fresh milk + sweetened condensed milk in my coffee, didn't not match my taste. I prefer my coffee to be milkier taste so I put evaporated milk + sweetened condensed milk. Any other drink like tea or Milo I just put sweetened condensed milk though

How to prevent emotional baggage in the future?

Hello, I'm having rough time. I've been manipulated, coerced, coaxed, lied to in relationship. I missed my past carefree me that isn't controlling, manipulative, vengeful. I felt that I had been taking advantage off, because of my innocence and inexperienced in relationship. It was my first serious long term relationship. I want to move forward so I can have healthy personality rather than faking it. Or the damage too great to repair my emotional being?

She had to remove the wisdom tooth and the adjacent tooth unfortunately because the wisdom tooth damaged the adjacent tooth's root .

Pick which one closest of the choice applies to you. Let's see who is under pressure due society

My dad could afford an imported car based on his salary. However, he only bought local cars since for him a car only to get move from one point to another. He doesnt even drive fast, so he thinks it pretty pointless to put so much money on a car. Yeah, I know imported cars have more safety though but some Malaysian driving style are horrible

Help on career advice?

Hello, I've been thinking about what kind of career to pursue and how to pursue it (Science student). I have preference over a career that able to freelance or to work from home option down the road if I choose to. The reason behind my choice is that I would like take care my own child fulltime if I have one. I feel that I gonna miss a lot of my child development if I choose over to work. Yeah, being a fulltime housewife is a good idea too but I rather have supplement income so I could actually provide myself without depending fully on my husband. Eventually I would like to work fulltime once my child reaches certain age.

The career (required academic qualification) that I could think that has the option are writer, programmer, graphic designer, accounting, web developer. The other way to gain income while at home are using cooking, sewing or being dropship agent. My parents advised me to get a career that required academic qualification though. The worst case if my career didn't take off, I could always fall back on skills.

Yeah, I well aware some career that freelance aren't as good as working fulltime at office. Income still an income which better than nothing as long I could buy what I want based on my income.

I'm interested to be a writer, but not sure how to proceed with it. Does it even has a lot job opportunies ?Any other career that able to freelance or to work from home option that I isn't aware??

Back then, did you eat with your family together?

I mean during the time you stayed under one roof with your family/parents. If you guys have family now, does it differ from what your family practiced while you was young?

My family never really eat together unless we take away food. Probably stemed from my dad habit who ate whenever he could while he was young. Basically my siblings never had proper eating time. Usually we just ate whenever we felt like it when my mum done her cooking

However, it would sleep in awkward places like at the crook of my elbows or in between my legs or at the crook of my neck. Nowadays, it grown bigger it would sleep on the pillow/over my head. Thankfully it doesn't pick up to sleep on my chest or my face just yet.

[attachmentid=7380523]
