Need reliable internet service

Hi there ,
I need some information regarding internet service whose service is reliable and consistent
I am a new member here so forgive me if i have posted in the wrong section.
I just returned from overseas after 5 years and i am currently living with my parents in Cheras in Desa Baiduri. This is an apartment. My parents have internet from tmnet which is streamyx and it is rated at 1mbps i believe. They pay 110 a month. I visited a streamyx /unifi service center and asked them if i could upgrade to unifi and their answer was this area does not cover unifi and to make matters worse i asked them if i could upgrade my streamxy and they said i could not since its an apartment and some sort of wiring would be needed and they currently are not doing that.

Now i am deciding to quit their service and just go for some sort of broadband or anything else that gives me much higher surfing speed and is consistent.

I use the internet for just a little social networking maybe about 20 mins a day and mostly for studies and work purpose. A little bit of youtube and 2 hrs of video calling using skype once a week. I need to have wifi capabilities so that i could connect my cellphone at home or laptop.
I also would like it to be able to support magicjack which my parents have used for the past 2 years to call back to united States.

Currently i have a Riger DB109-WL wireless ADSL modem attached which is supplied by tmnet.

My budget is 150 per month

If someone could kindly help me or direct me to the best possible source of information or advice me based on my requirement and location, i would highly appreciate it.
