Working 12-16hrs a day. Is this normal?

I'm working for one of Malaysia's leading FMCG, an MNC of course, well paid and my role offers great career prospect in the long run. the flip side is I dont have a life, 8am-10pm hours are pretty much the norm here. it could goes up to 16hours during the bad days.people here are highly ambitious and competition is bound to happen. most female managers are (still) single, not not choice of course, due to the insane hours & work culture.
A blessing in disguise I'd say, I recently received an offer from an international bank for a support role which promised a good 8 hours-a-day role. they will be able to match my current salary but I can definitely make more in my current company if I stay longer (im one year through a 2yr graduate prog)
Despite not having prospect as promising as my current company, it sure helps a great deal in making myself a happier person tho

So, what do you guys think? To leave or to stay?
