It was still supposed to be under extended warranty (but was deemed void because of the corner dents). They called up and concluded that they have no parts to repair my iPad and suggested I get a new one for RM1400. But I haven&#39;t even finished paying for the iPad yet&#33; Now I have to top up RM1400 for a new one?&#33;<br /><br />Also I haven&#39;t dropped it recently. The dents were made months ago, which can&#39;t possibly cause my iPad to be unresponsive. I put it to charge the previous night when the battery was low and I simply can&#39;t turn it on or connect to iTunes the next day, despite plugging it in to charge again. However the back part of the iPad was hot throughout the day. I charged it for not more than 5 hours.<br /><br />Do you think the repair can be done differently if I brought it to another Apple service center? I don&#39;t want to change my iPad, or buy a new one.
