Powerline Adapter, noise?

Hi, I'm currently on Unifi 50MBps package, so here's my problem.

Homeplug model: TPLINK TL-WPA4220KIT

Last time, there used to be no problem with my net using homeplug, but now things started to change.

So, my room is located upstairs and are in no way close to where my modem is located (living room downstairs). So I used homeplug to connect to my PC for gaming. Nowadays, my speed went from 50MB/s to 6MB/s download, and maintained a constant 20MB/s upload. I've tried to change my homeplug locations to different rooms, and realized that the further the room is from my router, the lesser the speed will be. I've tried using only the homeplug on my socket without any other external appliances that might create unnecessary noise and interference, but it's still the same thing. Of course, the internet at my living room is unaffected and stayed at 50MB/s. I've tried using the homeplug directly next to my modem and the speed is unaffected (50MB/s down, 20MB/s up).

Does this mean my electrical wiring got problem? How do I find a solution for this? Does buying a powerline adapter with higher power rating and transfer speed helps eliminate the problem? Should I contact TM/electrician to eliminate the noise, if so how much would it cost?

Any help would be really appreciated, thank you!

Jobs after SPM while waiting for results.

Hello, I recently finished SPM, and now have nothing to do while waiting for SPM results. I am a SC Stream student, able to communicate in BM and English quite well, and also computer literate. The question is, where should I work? I'm looking for a salary above RM1300/month and would really prefer an office job (data entry) so that I can improve my resume in the future. Previously, I worked at a shoe store for a week in 2013 and 2 months in 2014 (same store). I live in Rawang, Selangor, and willing to work until KL (but not so far). Is there any suggestions where should I work ? Even if it's not an office job, if it's above RM1k/month, I might consider it. Thank you for your help guys, thanks.

Ways to gain money after retirement

So, my mother is going to retire next year, my father already retired years ago, so my family's source of income had always come from my mother. When my mother retires, there will be no income for our family. So the only money we will have later are from KWSP and I don't think it will be enough for my whole family, studies and bills etc. So where should my mother invest my KWSP money on to get a stable income ? I heard making a laundy shop (kedai dobi) is a good way to gain stable income, but what are the other choices that my mother can do to gain stable amount of monthly income ? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

EDIT: My mother doesn't have to do the work. I'm trying to find out what is the best way to spend to money to get a stable monthly income, if wan make shop also can ask indon or part time workers. My mom just wanna know how to invest her money gain stable monthly income

Streamyx suddenly stopped working

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx 8MB/s
Location: Rawang
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: -
Router: TP-LINK TD-W8961ND
Firewall used: None

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Mid-January 2015 (was not at home when this happened)
Problem frequency: Always (never stopped)
Problem description: So I went lepaking with friends during one night, after I came back, my network (im using wired thru homeplug) seems to have some issues. I tried to go to any website and kept getting myself at the error page. I reconfigured my router and the problem still has not been solved, so I thought to myself that it was a router problem (previously i was using innacom router provided by TM) and I bought myself a TP-LINK TD-W8961ND. I brought my laptop and connect it to the router directly thru LAN and it seems that there is no internet access eventhough I'm using wired. I can't even go to 192.168.1.1 or any gateways. The router that I used have LAN, WLAN, and DSL LED light up correctly, except for Internet. So I called TM, and they guided me to configure it correctly. Unfortunately, the problem still exists, so they brought in a technician. Sadly, the technician only checked the outside of my house (I was at school, so I couldn't bring him in). He said that everything is working perfectly. So now I'm in deep trouble cause I can't get to connect this router to the Internet. How do I solve this problem ? If there is any missing information, I'll try to provide them.

EDIT: typo

[WTA] Quote me a gaming rig

I want to buy a gaming rig, the budget is RM2700 (strict, cant go any higher), only the PC as I already have monitor and peripherals. Its better if the rig is balanced (best graphics card if possible), doesn't matter AMD or Intel, overclockable or not. I prefer it to be ATX and not others. Hope to see some feedback, thanks !
