Purposely stratch on magnetic stripe on bank card?

Since many fraud case happened recently on news.
I have a concern that can I just purposely stratch the magnetic stripe of ATM/Credit card to prevent being swiped?
Since most of transaction nowadays verified via EMV chip, why banks still create magnetic stripe on the back of the card?

3 PWM Fans in one motherboard?

Hi guys,

I need some help here. I have 3 PWM fans but my motherboard z87 extreme 3 only have 1x4pin & 2x3-pin fan connector.

Since my MBB only have 1x4pin connector, how do I fully control fan speed of 3 PWM fans? Any alternatives? or need any third party accessories?

Does Veracrypt works with raid 1?

Does anyone experience with veracrypt + raid 1. I can't found any related solution in any other website.
Currently I'm using windows 's disk mirroring feature (Storage space) to mirror my both HDD drives. I just wonder can I add veracrypt encyption on top of the mirror drive? Any compatibility issue or data corruption ? Mind to share?

I'm not quite expert on this. I know that vacuum cleaner will damage hardware easily. So, I wanna get rid of those dust. Can I use other way such as hair dryer to blow away them instead? Or you guys have any other low budget or easier suggestion, mind to share? I'm quite appreciate.

wireless bridge extremely slow and high ping

Hi guys, anyone can help on this? I just setup a wireless bridge between two router. I performed speedtest which only obtained 5-6mbps (originally should be 30mbps downstream). I tried to ping some websiste (google.com.my etc). The average ms around 500ms++, and sometimes may go up to 1000ms++. The distance between two router are quite near just about a room size. Besides, I din experience any speed and ping issue when using repeater instead.

1.Primary router : netgear r6300v2 (tomatousb shibby cfw)
2.Secondary router : Asus RT-N12 (tomatousb shibby cfw)

My configuration flow as following

TM unifi ---> primary router --> wireless bridge ---> secondary router ---->LAN through PC

Lack of Chassis Fan Connector

Hi guys, I'm having an issue where my motherboard only have 1 4 pin-Chassis Fan Connector, but my pc have 2 case fan (front & back). Is there any alternative way or any third party accessories to provide extra chassis fan connector and make both case fan working~?

1: The video below happened while starting up pc (stuck in motherboard logo)
2. The disk platter stop spinning after boot into windows
3. Drive are not detectable. But physical disk (e.g: disk 0 or 1) is detectable in disk management and showed as not yet initialize

Earphone only plays sound on one ear

I'm having issue with my surface pro 3. Only right side of earphone working, no sound output from left side after plug-in my earphone into 3.5mm jack. No sound issue after connected via bluetooth & bluetooth headphone.

I found out there're sound output from both left and right of earphone when I plugged in my earphone loosely. Just like pic below..

Is this an OS bug or hardware issue?

Hi guys, just wanna to ask,

To achieve best sound quality, is it must be buy a full set which come with sound card + optical cable + speaker with optical audio port support?
Any mixture among them like using 3.5mm jack port or on-board sound card will cause any sound quality loss?

Laptop can't achieve full internet speed

Hi guys, my laptop cannot fully utilize broadband speed after connected to router. But weird is that max speed is achievable after connected through repeater. I didn't enable features like QOS or bandwidth limiter. Why this happened?
Laptop --> router (max speed to 15mbps)
Laptop --> repeater --> router (max speed 30mbps)
