Buying downgradeable Windows 8

Hi all,

I need to buy a Windows 8 license that is downgrade-able to Windows 7.

The reason for doing this is because:
1. Software at work only supports windows 7
2. buying windows 7 license key is such a waste as Windows 8 is out now and I won;t be able to upgrade if teh software that I used get's supported in the future.

Hi all,

I have a particular requirement

1. I need to install Windows 7 on my MBP.

Personally speaking, I would like to do it in this manner:

Purchase Windows 8 license key -> downgrade to windows 7

the reason for doing this is because the software that I'm using is only supported on Windows 7 machine for work

But from a personal point of view, I would rather buy a Windows 8 license key rather than a Windows 7 license key which I would not be able to upgrade in the future (if the software I'm using gets supported)

2. I need to buy an original Windows 8 license key that allows me for downgrade purposes in Malaysia.

Can anybody advice me on the 2 items above?

Better battery life when 3G speed is not limited

Iphone4s, iOS 5.0.1, Umobile prepaid unlimited mobile Internet plan.

My battery life has always been poor, 5 hours max when on 3G and this was when my 3G speeds was limited - I maxed out my data the moment I got my iphone.

Today, when the data plan was renewed, I sort of noticed that my battery life proved by a bit.

On limited speed my iphone does get hot at times when I do a little browsing - maybe 15 minutes?

This did not happen today at full 3G speed.

So I was wondering if you guys experienced this as well?

I see this as a major defect as reduction in speed by carriers should not have any impact on hardware.

Tried searching for a relevant thread but found none.

My question is:

1. If the battery life of my iPad2 has dropped significantly and is still within the warranty period, does Malaysia Apple Store exchange it on a 1 to 1 basis like in the US?
2. If #1 is valid in Malaysia, does anybody know the procedure? US Apple Store states that the battery life must be degraded to 50% or more within the warranty period. How does an owner check this personally on his own?

I'm not so sure if this is the correct thread to post.

My question is simple.

Is scanned receipts legal in Malaysia? If I were to buy a product and receive a receipt, can I scan it and keep it as an original receipt for any purpose in the future? Be it for tax purposes or defect product?
