Toyota service centre after warranty period?

I am owner of toyota VIOS and the car already passed the warranty period. Do I need to go back to service centre or go outside workshop? Where you go for service?

The labour charges for toyota service is high and the outside workshop is low, however, the outside worshop may give the inferior spare parts or second hand or china made parts, and may charge high or similar with toyoto also...

Today I just changed 4 spark plugs for RM80 at outside worshop!! and I checked back the toyota bill when I changed the 4 spark plugs only for RM34.40! but of course, the overall price of the service for outside worshop is lower than the toyota

Why engine die when the car stop at traffic light

I am driving VIOS Manual Type J. Each time when I stopped my car at traffic light or caught in jam, my car engine will gradually die. I have to press the accelerator pedal prevent the engine stop. Anyone know what's the reason? how much of the repair?
