I was admitted to a hospital recently. And personally saw a 慈眉善目 old lady who had one of d kindest demeanor I have ever seen. She was admitted a few days after me. But for some reason I couldn't bring myself to speak with her. (I guess I was in some kinda shock myself.)

On my last day in d ward, I saw her come back from another place of treatment in d hospital. She was practically groaning in agony. She had been admitted in what I perceived as excellent state of health. But was subjected to modern invasive medical investigations which I now suspect have taken her life.

I was quite upset actually and could only bring myself to say to one of her several kids or relatives who were at d scene of her suffering if u could afford to, u guys should bring her to see a sinseh in Taiwan or China. As they were all dressed quite well. One of d women stepped away but I could see tears welling up in her eyes.

It has happened more than a month ago. I now suspect d old lady personally decided that her time was up and decided to subject herself to become an experiment of modern medical technology.

I felt deep grief actually cos I sensed she is actually a very kind hearted old lady. Of cos I have no idea what transpired between her family members and herself.

But d whole episode reeks of euthanasia to me.

Hence I m wondering what fellow k/tards think of this issue. Pls do not make fun of me or d poor old lady. Cos I m actually deeply saddened by her painful and dare I say, untimely death.

Hence when it's not d time for d kid to be infected by d virus, and u injected him with d virus, his body will not react to d injection and may instead let d virus go into hibernation in some organ, which can later develop into cancer of that particular organ. And that's why vaccines are not one hundred percen fool proof. And in many instances in malesia here and d US, kids become autistic or hyperactive after d injection. In China there was a case of a baby whose skin jus flaked off and literally peeled off his body after a vaccine injection. But Pls don't ask me d reason for death and suffering. Cos I reckon jus as a kid doesn't know what d symbol or digit or numeral One means, u can hardly expect him to understand what's 1+1=2. (I also don't understand d meaning of 2 or zero. But I guess I could try explaining d relationship between three and 8 and d meaning behind 1 divided by three.)

Systems or democracy in countries.

Some advanced countries reckon that d backward and poor countries in Africa and elsewhere are like that because they aren't democratic enough.

I say there's a flaw in d current system. Why aren't parents and grandparents given at least one more vote than d single person? Don't tell me d hippies and d DINKs have as much at stake or should have as much say as those with d younger generations in heart.

I reckon China even though has only one political party, is already a democratic country. As its leaders are voted openly in a systematic way by its members.

Or I guess I could invent a new word to describe d political system in China. Communicratic. 共产 + 民主 = 共主主义？

I really think Western doctors who don't know anything about healing should stop giving d kids anti biotics. If they must give, they should advise d parents to give d kids yogurt as well. This is to replenish d good bacteria killed by d antibiotics also.

Used to be d good old days when kids don't fall ill to strange illnesses like cancer, etc. In d olden days or times when people were more God fearing, kids heal jus by touch. It can be summed up in d old English tune "John Brown's baby got a cold upon his chest".

I reckon I will pick one Chinese character everyday and meditate upon it. Cos every Chinese character is an art on its own and possesses laws that can be analysed.

I think I will think about 教, meaning teach or educate. I jus realised d left side is 孝, meaning filial piety.

Wow, that's a too big concept for my brain to absorb.

Ok. Enough of d joking. Let me go do some breathing exercise while hanging up d laundry and ponder at d same time.

Tomorrow I may ask for suggestions on which Chinese character to ponder upon.
