Remove Tartar During Monthly Braces Visits?

Just had my 1st follow up at the dental after having my braces installed.

All the dentist did was replace the wire with a thicker one.

Is this normal or is he supposed to clean the tartar build up as well?

Cleaning is difficult and even with regular brushing (with normal brush + interdental) after every single meal, there is significant tartar build up around some tooth.

Also, each follow up cost RM 300. Thought that would at least come with some cleaning. RM 300 to go in and out in under 15 mins seems excessive.

Back in November 2020 it was reported that DBKL sold a piece of land along Jalan Desa Aman 1 to Tadmax Resources Bhd, now known as Maxim Global Berhad.

The exact location is not shown but based on the news' "East side", the location is likely to be the old flats opposite Mutiara Central or the food court (Pusat Penjaja Taman Desa Aman) next to it, both of which have been said by locals to have been approached about redevelopment plans.

RakuMargin - Pledge money to trade less?

I'm so confused. I thought the whole idea of margin trading is that you get more than what you pledged to trade? So if you pledge 1k, you're supposed to be able to trade more than 1k.

But with RakuMargin you can only trade lesser than what you pledged. So if you pledge 1k, you can trade up to 800.

It is supposed to be x2.25 if you pledge cash and trading limit shows up as 2,250 but it won't let me trade above 80% of my collateral / 800.

If that is the case why would anyone want to pledge money to trade lesser?

This just doesn't make sense. Am I understanding the whole concept of margin trading wrongly?

Hi,

TM gave us a new router for our 300Mbps unifi package but the signal is too weak and there's too much space to cover. We're thinking of getting a wifi mesh system and to connect the little stations through ethernet cable. That said, we are considering wiring our house with fibre optic to get these stations connected to the internet.

Anybody know how much this is going to cost / have contacts I can refer to / any advice?

Basically, we're an international food delivery company and we're active in over 40 countries. Local operations are based in Southgate, Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur. The nearest LRT station is Chan Sow Lin.

The Customer Care Centre's operation hours are from 9.30am to 10.30pm daily. Part timers get a minimum of 4 hours per shift and you can get more than that depending on how busy we are or expect ourselves to be on a particular day. Insects in my raisins

Hi guys, just wondering if this is normal.

I bought a small box of raisins couple months back. I opened it tonight and was eating it while watching a series. I thought I dropped bits on my table (like when you bite on chips or biscuits the bits just fall around) so I took a piece of tissue and tried to wipe them only to find them moving around. Upon closer inspection, I find them to be insects. I looked at my raisins and this is what I see.

Is this normal? And what should I do?

I still have the receipt with me by the way.

I've eaten containers and boxes of raisins before. From this brand. But I've never encountered this before.

I mean, should I report them to the authorities or something and seek some sort of compensation?

Or is this something common? It looks like the same sort of insect you find in raw rice.

UPDATE 14/7/15 2.18pm Couldn't stand it anymore. Insects were crawling out no matter what I do to prevent it. Called the Giant branch I bought it from more than 10 times and nobody picked up the phone. Called the HQ and you can reach literally any department and even the CEO's office but you can't speak to a customer service consultant.

Decided to go to the branch myself to get a replacement. The supervisor told me that it was clearly written on the receipt and at the exit that perishable goods cannot be exchanged after 2 days non perishable after 7 days. I bought a ton of stuff that day, together with the raisins. She insisted and I got upset. I asked her if she really expected that I ate every single thing I bought or open every single thing I bought just to check it within 2 days. I started scolding her. She went in and later on came back with a replacement.

Anyway, for anybody reading this, just remember that we as consumers have rights. The laws in Malaysia states that as long as the things we purchased are not of satisfactory quality, we can ask for a replacement or compensation. It doesn't matter what their receipt says because their company's regulations is nothing compared to what the laws say. Of course it has to be within a reasonable amount of time.

Windows 8 Download Speed Slow

Every time I try to download stuff, the speed is really slow. It's literally 1/5 of what it should be.

It's weird because when I go to speedtest.net, it shows that there's no issue with my Internet speed.

What's wrong then?

Surface RT YouTube Issue

Hey guys, I am using a Windows Surface RT tablet.

Every time I watch youtube on the Internet, the pixels would automatically change to the lowest, without fail. The video would start off really clear but after a while it would go down to 144p. I have to manually change it to 720p all the time.

I am using unifi so its definitely not my internet issue.

Anybody know a solution?
