Im a Malaysian graduate. Have degree in accounting from a local Uni. Currently working in Singapore. Plans to take CPA. Would like to ask advice regarding:-

1) fees in sg or msia one?(look up in the website seems confusing) http://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/member-services/fees/malaysia
2) Should I take in Malaysia or must take in malaysia
3) Acca left 5 papers 9 exempted in Malaysia not sure about sg and cpa.

Exp 4.5 years audit in a medium sized firm.
Currently Asst manager
Job scope : review files train audit staffs
Only have degree
Pay only RM2.7k
Recently had MIA

What pay should demand if still stay in this firm?? If want to go commercial is it possible?? audit to doing accounts?? if apply big 4s what position to apply possibility of big 4 to even accepting the application??

In short asking for advice what is the next thing to do?? pay so lil... exp don't know recognizable not??

It doesnt cover the whole avcounting process... You might only be specialised in the area ur assigned maybe mgmt accounts indircet tax interco trans etc... Is the skill transferable to your next job? What kinda next job that suits the exp you gained from FSS.. Alot of mncs have FSS in msia eg schlum dell etc... Share your pov.. Tq..

working in a medium sized firm (xxx & co) for 4+years already... doing audit... have mia... currently assistant manager in this firm...

pay is low.... and nothing much to learn already...

thought of joining plcs o mncs (interviewed got the job but rejected coz i feel that that's not the kinda life i want i really love audit)

now i have decided to try my luck in big 4...

will they even accept my app?? what level should i be applying for?? junior asso?? expected pay?? what about big 4's in sg?? i didnt take any pro papers coz i dont earn alot to afford the fees...

pls advice coz i seriously want to work in a bigger more recognizable firm... ... wasted my time on this firm...

went for an interview for accountant position on wednesday... the co called and offered me RM4k basic 250 travelling allowance.. and OT he doesn't explain but the comp's year ended is sept probably ill only get to OT sept - dec... in the interview i already stressed that i want RM5k i dont care how they package the salary as long as it's RM5k. They said ok they'll arrange that. Yesterday when they offered i said i hope that every month i would get 5k. And he said ok ill talk to my boss and will get back to you after the discussion. But i havent receive any called yet till now... :'(... does that mean they doesnt want me anymore?? :'(...

I was called to attend an interview with this company this wednesday 9am for the accounts executive position.
Anyone had worked here before?? How is the working environment the people and the pay??
