'Sleep Apnea' ataupun Apnea tidur adalah gangguan tidur yang berpotensi serius di mana pernafasan berulang kali berhenti dan bermula. Jika anda berdengkur dengan kuat dan berasa letih walaupun selepas tidur semalaman penuh, anda mungkin mengalami sleep apnea.

Jenis utama apnea tidur ialah:

1)Apnea tidur obstruktif ( Obstructive Sleep Apnea), bentuk yang lebih biasa yang berlaku apabila otot tekak berehat
2) Apnea tidur tengah (Central Sleep Apnea), yang berlaku apabila otak anda tidak menghantar isyarat yang betul kepada otot yang mengawal pernafasan
3)Sindrom apnea tidur kompleks (Complex Sleep Apnea), juga dikenali sebagai apnea tidur pusat yang timbul rawatan, yang berlaku apabila seseorang mempunyai kedua-dua apnea tidur obstruktif dan apnea tidur pusat

Jika anda fikir anda mungkin mengalami apnea tidur, berjumpa dengan doktor anda. Rawatan boleh meredakan gejala anda dan mungkin membantu mencegah masalah jantung dan komplikasi lain.

Tahap Keterukan Penyakit

Tanda-tanda dan gejala apnea tidur obstruktif dan pusat bertindih, kadangkala menyukarkan untuk menentukan jenis yang anda ada. Tanda-tanda dan gejala apnea tidur obstruktif dan pusat yang paling biasa termasuk:

-Dengkur kuat
-Episod di mana anda berhenti bernafas semasa tidur — yang akan dilaporkan oleh orang lain
-Tercungap-cungap mencari udara semasa tidur
-Bangun dengan mulut kering
-Sakit kepala pagi
-Sukar untuk terus tidur (insomnia)
-Mengantuk berlebihan pada siang hari (hipersomnia)

Faktor-faktor risiko

Apnea tidur boleh menjejaskan sesiapa sahaja, walaupun kanak-kanak. Tetapi faktor tertentu meningkatkan risiko anda meghidapi Apnea tidur obstruktif seperti di bawah

1)Berat badan berlebihan.
Obesiti sangat meningkatkan risiko apnea tidur. Mendapan lemak di sekitar saluran pernafasan atas anda boleh menghalang pernafasan anda.

2)Lilitan leher.
Orang yang mempunyai leher yang lebih tebal mungkin mempunyai saluran udara yang lebih sempit.

3)Saluran pernafasan yang sempit.
Anda mungkin mewarisi tekak yang sempit. Tonsil atau adenoid juga boleh membesar dan menyekat saluran pernafasan, terutamanya pada kanak-kanak.

4)Menjadi lelaki.
Lelaki dua hingga tiga kali lebih berkemungkinan mengalami apnea tidur berbanding wanita. Walau bagaimanapun, wanita meningkatkan risiko mereka jika mereka berlebihan berat badan, dan risiko mereka juga kelihatan meningkat selepas menopaus.

4)Menjadi lebih tua.
Apnea tidur berlaku dengan ketara lebih kerap pada orang dewasa yang lebih tua.

5)Sejarah keluarga.
Mempunyai ahli keluarga yang mengalami apnea tidur mungkin meningkatkan risiko anda.

6)Penggunaan alkohol atau penenang.
Bahan-bahan ini melegakan otot-otot di kerongkong anda, yang boleh memburukkan apnea tidur obstruktif.

7)Merokok.
Perokok adalah tiga kali lebih berkemungkinan mengalami apnea tidur obstruktif berbanding orang yang tidak pernah merokok. Merokok boleh meningkatkan jumlah keradangan dan pengekalan cecair di saluran pernafasan atas.

8)Hidung tersumbat.
Jika anda mengalami kesukaran bernafas melalui hidung - sama ada daripada masalah anatomi atau alahan - anda lebih berkemungkinan mengalami apnea tidur obstruktif.

9)Keadaan perubatan.
Kegagalan jantung kongestif, tekanan darah tinggi, diabetes jenis 2 dan penyakit Parkinson adalah beberapa keadaan yang boleh meningkatkan risiko apnea tidur obstruktif. Sindrom ovari polikistik, gangguan hormon, strok terdahulu dan penyakit paru-paru kronik seperti asma juga boleh meningkatkan risiko.

Complication

Apnea tidur adalah keadaan perubatan yang serius. Komplikasi boleh termasuk:
1)Kepenatan siang hari.
Kebangkitan berulang yang dikaitkan dengan apnea tidur menjadikan tidur pemulihan yang normal mustahil, menyebabkan rasa mengantuk yang teruk pada siang hari, keletihan dan kerengsaan.

2)Susah focus
Anda mungkin mengalami kesukaran untuk menumpukan perhatian dan mendapati diri anda tertidur di tempat kerja, semasa menonton TV atau semasa memandu. Orang yang mengalami apnea tidur mempunyai peningkatan risiko kemalangan kenderaan bermotor dan tempat kerja.

3)Agitated
Anda juga mungkin berasa cepat marah, murung atau tertekan. Kanak-kanak dan remaja dengan apnea tidur mungkin menunjukkan prestasi yang buruk di sekolah atau mempunyai masalah tingkah laku.

4)Tekanan darah tinggi atau masalah jantung.
Penurunan mendadak dalam paras oksigen darah yang berlaku semasa apnea tidur meningkatkan tekanan darah dan menegangkan sistem kardiovaskular. Mengalami apnea tidur obstruktif meningkatkan risiko tekanan darah tinggi (hipertensi).

5) Stroke
Apnea tidur obstruktif juga mungkin meningkatkan risiko serangan jantung berulang, strok dan degupan jantung yang tidak normal, seperti fibrilasi atrium. Jika anda mempunyai penyakit jantung, beberapa episod oksigen darah rendah (hipoksia atau hipoksemia) boleh menyebabkan kematian mengejut akibat degupan jantung yang tidak teratur.

6)Diabetes jenis 2.
Mengalami apnea tidur meningkatkan risiko anda mendapat rintangan insulin dan diabetes jenis 2.

7)Metabolic Syndrome
Sindrom metabolisme. Gangguan ini, yang termasuk tekanan darah tinggi, paras kolesterol yang tidak normal, gula darah tinggi dan peningkatan lilitan pinggang, dikaitkan dengan risiko penyakit jantung yang lebih tinggi.

8) Complication with drugs and surgery
Komplikasi dengan ubat-ubatan dan pembedahan. Apnea tidur obstruktif juga merupakan kebimbangan dengan ubat-ubatan tertentu dan anestesia am. Orang yang mengalami apnea tidur mungkin lebih berkemungkinan mengalami komplikasi selepas pembedahan besar kerana mereka terdedah kepada masalah pernafasan, terutamanya apabila dibius dan baring.Sebelum anda menjalani pembedahan, beritahu doktor anda tentang apnea tidur anda dan cara ia dirawat.

9) Liver problem
Masalah hati. Orang yang mengalami apnea tidur lebih berkemungkinan mendapat keputusan yang tidak normal pada ujian fungsi hati, dan hati mereka lebih berkemungkinan menunjukkan tanda-tanda parut (penyakit hati berlemak bukan alkohol).

10)Pasangan yang kurang tidur.
Dengkuran yang kuat boleh menghalang sesiapa yang tidur berhampiran anda daripada mendapat rehat yang baik. Tidak jarang pasangan terpaksa pergi ke bilik lain, atau ke tingkat lain rumah, untuk tidur.

Property under liquidation. Liquidator nowhere to

Hello,

Recently my parent asked me to help with one of their property.

The property was bought long time ago around 2006? or 7 i think, however the perfection of title was not done as the developer goes into liquidation.

Unfortunately my parents didnt notice or didnt take any action during the liquidator giving letters etc la kot..

So recently engaged a lawyer to do the perfection of title, the lawyer have gone to jabatan insolvensi and got the liquidator punya details,

However, the office number and address both also leads to deadend. nobody is picking up the calls, and nobody is there at the address.

My question is this,

How do we help this lawyer on getting the contact details of the liquidators? because my lawyer said if she can get the liquidator it is quite an easy process..

I have tried to contact the neighbours surrounding the house, some managed to do perfection before developer goes into liquidation.

Some was able to get a lawyer that managed to contact the liquidator. I contacted the lawyer but he charge an outrageous fee in my honest opinion. (the difference between my lawyer punya quotation and the lawyer b is like double..

Lawyer A (my lawyer ) charges around X with everything included

Lawyer B ( the lawyer that charges high ) charges around 2x with other fees to be included as well such as liquidator fees mot etc.

What is my option to help my current lawyer to get the liquidator punya details other than engaging with lawyer b.

FYI Lawyer b also is not that honest, as i meet up with one of his client yang did perfection under him, and my lawyer contacted the lawyer to ask for more info, yet the lawyer denies that the client did perfection under him , instead the client is doing other things with other property with him..

renovation - all in one or the expert for cost

hello guys.. just a simple question.

To do list :-

1) redo all the piping/plumbing ( to replace all the aging pipe)
2) redo all the wiring (maybe maybe upgrade to 3phase)
3) minor plaster ceiling ( depends on budget whether will go for this or not)
4) house landscape ( levelling the yard / put top soil? )
5 ) do boundary wall
6) flaten a bit the road to the house from main road ( road like too steep)

so just wondering will i save cost if i go for all in one contractor to do all this or should i just break it to several contractor .. like plumbing n wiring go to one or two contractor.. landscape go to another contractor ..

havent start contacting contactors to come survey the house yet as the house havent been handover to me yet. just wondering which is the better road for me here onwards.

bed too high for baby solutions

just wanna ask, before this my baby can turun from my bed quite easily however recently we upgraded the bedframe + new mattress which makes the height of the bed+ mattress is about 62cm and height of baby last ukur is about 70cm.. so looks like he will be having difficulty nak turun from the bed...

so what is the potential solution ah?

1) baby guard rail - but then i read baby can tersepit la apa la. so scary
2) put pillow around the bed - must find firm and affordable pillow la kan to encircle the bed

what else ah? you guys have any ideas?

anyway i have bought a new myvi 1.5av last year. received it in july iinm...
used it with no big problem .. however i have been thinking of changing to a bigger car..

so what i want to know is, since the car is barely 1 year old. how do we determine the price to let go or how much will a used car dealer take for it/ trade in..

im just in the process of rationalizing my decision however this is just an impulse for now.. thinking to gather all necessary info before thinking it thoroughly.

unsure if important took 9 years loan for it. payment usually is more than the minimum monthly payment
