Data Roaming Problem with Celcom <IMPORTANT>

Guys, Ive experienced twice on this issue. Im working in SG with my GF and she juz changed from Maxis to Celcom long before the Maxis hangat news. She juz started working in SG 2 months back and somehow realize her phone suddenly cant receive any calls or sms in SG. While we check in Melaka 2 weeks later, the lady told us her phone kena RM38 roaming per day for 3 days. Hence phone line was barred.

Weird.. I sensed something very fishy and then questioned her again. She told us usage was around 10kb each separate day..... We were very very unhappy.. but was rushing back to SG that day so had to pay up in order to get the line back to life.

After came back to SG, my gf din put the simcard in at all cos scared of the charges reoccur. But last few days due to banking needs, she had to turn on her Celcom line.... 3 days later, walaa...... Barred again. No making calls nor receiving calls... not even smses..

After checking with few friends, seems like this is a known issue for Celcom. and they only will waive it for you if you make complaints to them. Best part is, usually first call they will not waive it. Until u make complaints to CFM and SKMM, then only they tell you its a freaking KNOWN ISSUE, hence will waive for you.

Im not sure how many more of you here kena this before. But twice in 2 months does seems pretty bad shape for their system.

My friend that got his waiver after complaining to CFM, kena another time again right after.... *facepalm*

I dont have my gf's phone bill to show for now coz her acct login also being blocked. Below attached is example from my friend's bill. Always triggered at the same time, even got Russia data usage.. dono how the heck it came in...

So, what do you think... MaShits blood sucker is bad, or this bloody SiaoKom vampire is worst...?

This unit has served me for more than 10 years. The Woofer still running strong but the satellites had given way one by one at recent years.

Do you guys have any idea how and what can i use to replace the satellite speakers to make this system alive again?

Prob faced on 40D

Hi all,

I've juz got my 40D and i found something very wierd with it.

I've charged the batt full, but when put into the camera's batt grip it shows only 1 box of batt left. put in camera straight also shows the same thing. sometimes even blinking like batt life ending. Even when i tried to slot in other 2 3rd party batt together / mix with ori batt it also shows blinking batt life.

am using Canon BG-E2N on the camera anyway.

Yesterday went out for model shooting with both 3rd party batt in the camera + blinking batt stats but it lasted from 11am till the end of shooting and batt is still alive till i went back home transferring pics from the camera. (and till now i suppose)

anyone facing this problems? juz a bit worried that i might face batt issues later on when i go shooting for events like the batt just suddenly mati coz din get to keep track of it..

p/s: firmware already latest ver1.1.1

Hello everyone.. no idea if my post will be moved or closed for asking this kind of noob question but my shots was remained under Evaluative for Flash control all the time even for indoor / events shooting... yes i mean E-TTL or for Nikon might be i-TTL?

wonder if anyone can share what's the difference you will get when u use Evaluative or Average Flash control? appreciate your help as i'm learning as well!

Went to Putrajaya for photoshooting of first Dragon Boat Festival 2009....

Proud to see such colourful event and despite i do not really see many publicity of this event it actually attracted lots of crowd!

hi all..
i'm facing a prob that i really dunno how to solve... have no idea..
below is my PC's spec :

p4 3.0E HT
Asus P4P800 socket 478 series motherboard
2*256MB RAM
128MB power color Radeon 9600XT graphic card
SB Audigy SE sound card
iCute 480W power supply (ATX12V 2.0 Version)

recently, only recently i face this problem: my pc always hang when i'm playng games like LOTR2 or C&C Zero Hour. It sometimes hang after 15 minutes of playing, sometimes 30 mins, sometimes 1 hour. It hangs in my normal tempreture room, in Air-cond Room, with the casing closed, or even with the casing side opened up...

already cleaned up the entire interior and the prob still exists...

really duno how to solve this prob guys.. any idea?
