I have a question on setting up a PC with 2 ISP as a backup for each other.<br /><br />There will be 2 routers, one PC. Will the PC need to have 2 NIC? Then each router connects to their own NIC with different IP addresses?<br /><br />In case 1 of the router fails/has no internet connection, will windows automatically select the network connection that has internet access?<br /><br />How does windows determine which software application uses which network connection?<br /><br />Basically I would like to confirm if the above method would actually work with automatic switching between the two.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
