Microsoft Surface RT University promo

Hi guys, recently Microsoft is running an education promotion for the Surface RT in my university.
The price for a 32 gb Surface, with a touch cover, will be only 336sgd ( approximately 870 myr )
Should i grab one Surface RT, as what I'm going to do with it is jz reading all my lecture pdf files,
and also my textbook pdf files. And perhaps some simple word processing.

Besides that, I alrd had a 15" rMBP for all those serious stuff for photo editing and relatively heavy stuff,
so it's a good chance for me to grab a surface RT, or should i wait for new Nexus 7, which might even cost even more?
