Bangsar South, KL – At most major career fair, jobseekers are overwhelmed with options: dozens of companies and exhibitors, countless vacancies, days of talks and seminars. EKSPO Maukerja, now in its third year, keeps it focused and fast: only 10 selected companies from various key industries, marathon interview sessions with at least 3,000 jobseekers, and hiring results within 24 hours. All in just one day.

Their formula has resulted in an industry-high 30% success hiring rate, and the 2017 edition aims to create an estimated RM2.7million in job value with as many as 1,500 hires. Of their strategy, expo organizer AJobThing’s CEO Ray Teng says, “We believe an effective career fair is one which gets down to business and gets the hiring done. Teng also stresses on the importance of the expo in boosting employment for the B40 category, “In fact, 41% of our attendees’ minimum education level is SPM and below, and 32% at diploma-level. With a focus on high-demand entry and junior-level vacancies, EKSPO Maukerja has all the right jobs for them.”

Featured companies include Sunway Theme Parks, AEON CO. (M) BHD, 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and many more. The expo is also effective for bulk hiring as each company can interview more than a 100 applicants, while jobseekers can attend as many as 5 interviews with various companies during the event. Junior executive-level positions are available also, and complimentary activities such as career consultation and comprehensive job listings.

Ekspo Maukerja 2017 is free entry and will be held on 15 April 2017 at the newly opened KL Gateway Mall. The expo caters to job opportunities in the Klang Valley area and is easily accessible by public transport (next to KL Gateway - Universiti LRT station).
