Waterproofing-any recommendation?

Hi folk
Would like to ask if anyone got a recommended waterproofing expert around, as my flat concrete roof porch in my terrace house is leaking below.
I did an epoxy coating years before, but it never last, and now during rainy days the water will drip onto my porch below.

I was thinking of doing a torch-applied bitumen membrane on the top of the porch, but I do not know any reliable contractor/company to do it, thus would like to ask some of you to recommend if you know if any.

[WTS] Cobra Connex SVR (Stolen Vehicle Recovery) for Honda cars.

Selling Cobra Connex SVR for Honda cars, taken out from my Honda CRZ after I have sold it. This set is meant for Honda CRZ, but it can be easily fitted to current Honda cars. If you are buying this for Honda CRZ, no new wiring need to be purchased, but if it is for a different Honda car, a new set of wiring loom needs to be purchased from the Connex installer (additional cost will be incurred, charged by the Connex installer).
I still have about 3 months before my subscription ends (ends Jan 2015), and this remaining subscription will be transferred to you, so you can use it for about 3 months before having to renew the subscription (RM360 a year). Note that this system can ONLY be installed by Connex authorized dealers as they will communicate with the Cobra Connex call center to activate and immediately start tracking your car. Cost of installation is included in the price below.
Also to note that this set includes the optional extra Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) cards, in which I paid extra RM500 earlier. This is actually a separate pocket sized card which you can carry and identifies you to the car you have.

Condition : Good, used for about 15,000km before I sold my CRZ.

Selling Takeda Stage-2 Pro Dry S intake, taken out from my Honda CRZ after I have demod it. It will fit both auto or manual CRZ.

Condition : Excellent, used less than 10,000km. Bought and installed at Avantgarde Mechanic. Comes with instruction manual and Takeda No Plate holder (came together with the Takeda intake). Original box thrown away unfortunately.

Specs : 18" X 8J, offset 44, PCD 114.3 (fits Honda CRZ or FD2). Note that this is a limited edition set, and it is a forged 1 piece ultra strong and ultra lightweight rims (estimate roughly about 7.5kg per rim, excluding tires). Nothing comes close to CE28N in terms of ultimate strength and lightweight, and comes from a reputable company (Rays Engineering) which is famous for their excellent products.

Package comes with the following original part options :
1) 4 x Rays Engineering air valve stem (mounted)
2) 4 x Rays Engineering air valve stem cap
3) 4 x VOLK RACING GT-high type Center Cap for the rims (not installed)

Wrongly Issues Summons by PDRM

Hi All
Would like to ask for some help and guidance here. My did a summon check on my car recently using the SMS hotline 32728, and found that I have a RM30 traffic summon for traffic obstruction.
"POLIS: ERROR Saman 1 11/09/2007 11:56:00 AM KUALA LUMPUR HALANGAN LALULINTAS RM 30"

The only problem is, that my car was bought and registered in 2012, with the latest running number plate (I did not re-use old number plate), thus I would think this is an error. I did a check on using my IC as well, and that didn't turn up any summons at all.

The question is, how do I go about cancelling this summon? Note that I did not receive the physical summon paper itself, and I only knew about this after using the SMS hotline. I have no idea where this summon has been issued, and which balai to go to...

Can someone please guide me over this?

Prudential agent ran away...

Hi all
Would like to ask, I have bought Prudential Pru-link life and medical insurance with an agent, for past 5 years or more now. Since a year ago, this agent is no longer contactable (the last voice mail 6 months ago says she is overseas, but now phone line terminated permanently) It was made worse when my wife was in the hospital, and we needed help on how to go about getting her admitted with the Prudential medical card that we have. Luckily my ex colleague helped guide us (but she is with AIA, not Prudential), and helped me through the ordeal.

Can we know how do we go about our insurance now? Since no one is helping us now on Prudential, do we terminate that insurance policy and go for a better one (e.g. with my ex-colleague)? If so, how do we go about terminating the insurance policy by our own?

Lastly, why some insurance agents like that, no longer serve you after they sell you the plan and earn the commission already? Nothing spurs them from helping out real people in trouble.... How can I protect myself from these kind of agents?

[WTA] LED emergency light & Smoke alarm

Hi All
I m in the midst of renovating my place, and plan to put in some LED emergency lights and smoke alarm for my house. So far my experience with both of these items bought off-the-shelf wasn't great (for my current shack), the emergency lights only last an hour or less after using it for a few months (battery doesn't hold charge anymore), while the battery smoke alarm breaks down and blares the alarm while we are sleeping.

Does anyone know where I can get good quality home smoke alarm and LED emergency lighting? I believe LED lighting can last longer, since LED does not consume power as much as normal flourescent light.

Appreciate your feedback on this... thanks a lot

Edit : LED emergency lights that I spoke about are those permanently mounted on my ceiling, not those that we carry around.

Password recovery email but not requested

Hi admins,
I receive an email just now saying that i have peformed a request for password recovery from lowyat.net forum. However, i never did perform any such password recovery, and i do not know if my user ID in this forum have been compromised or not. The email did mention that if i did not perform any such request, i should ignore it.
Can i know what i should do with this email, and how do I proceed from here?
