hi i just got my new laptop with li-on 6 cells
1) is it necessary to leave it charging for 8 hours on battery right away?
2) or should i set up things first on power adapter without battery (reset Windows 8, installations) then charge my battery when i sleep at night?
3) should i fully discharge my new laptop battery before charging?

i heard some battery don't work 100% at first (maximum charge only 80%), where user has to use for few days to discharge and charge stuff. how does this work?
Some questions about uni admission and PTPTN

Hello, I have some questions to ask about university and PTPTN.
University (Degree):
1) Is it true that the registration on 1 September means the start of Semester 1? (No need to go back from where we came from?)
2) Are we distributed of the asrama slot on the first day so that we can move in straight away?
3) Can we skip the orientation week? (Linked to question 1, for I've seen people returning to hometown after 'registration')
4(a) If I failed to get the course I want, and currently appealing, when will I know the result of appeal?
4(b) If the result is after 1 September (University registration day), how do I attend and register then?
5) I checked the PTPTN website for the education fee distribution (annual), for example (Science):
KADAR PENUH: 7000.00
KADAR SEBAHAGIAN: 3500.00
KADAR YURAN: 2100.00
KADAR SILING YURAN:	2100.00
If my family has income less than 4000, I get kadar penuh. What are Kadar Yuran and Siling Yuran then?

PTPTN:
1) Do I have to manually make the payment for semester fee? (Means no auto-credit from bank account?)
2) Is it true that PTPTN will send the loan to school every semester, then the school board will deduct the fee for us, then debit the remaining to our CIMB account?
3) Is it true that the school board is responsible to submit our CGPA and education status to PTPTN so that we can continue to have loan from PTPTN? (We don't have to submit letter, photocopied transcript, blabla?)
4) Is PTPTN loan entirely limit for education fee, or can we use them for our lifestyle purposes? (Replacing phone, laptop, education material, books?)
5) How will the WPP (Wang Pendahuluan something) cheque be given to us? I'm from east malaysia, and I never receive any governmental offer letter. I've to print them on my own, while I'm aware that many from semenanjung have the offer letters sent to their house.

UPM specific
UPM Fee
Can someone explain the fee for UPM as linked?
1) Section C Yuran Pelajaran is paid every semester?
2) At the bottom list, we can see the purata kos thingy. Just to make sure, we are paying the annual fee of 'Yuran Pengajian setahun' (after subsidize), right?
