Everyone knows that it is impossible for loan sharks to be taking out their money to loan to others right??

They're just like a bank, they have investors to fund their capital, and the investors get a cut of the interest the ahlong charged the people.

My friends recently set up a fund 1 year ago to invest in loan sharking and etc, they invested a little over 2million and made nearly 1 million profit in the first year.

What I meant by "loan sharking and etc":

Yes, they only invested in the loan shark(or should I say licensed money changer), but the loan shark gets their profit from a lot of sources besides interest rates

They invite me join recently, do you think this is a good business opportunity?

Btw, my friend learned from his father who was doing the exact same thing as well, except based in Johor.

Then I'm grateful because I'm so much more well off than some people here, but I also realize that there's also a lot of rich people lurking around here. I would never put anything worth more than a few thousand on my wrist, but some people here can discuss about them as if they were disposable

I realize that my Toyota Yaris(Vios) is a god amongst all car, instead of the piece of shit I bought 2nd hand for 6k usd.

But really gais, with the money you all spend on myvi, etc, can get a very good 2nd hand car in the US, here I also drive Vios but I spent 80k for it.

I also realized that some people struggle to eat with RM12 a day and yet I can spend up to RM20 a day.

Feel really grateful mang.

btw, this is not a show off thread, but I really cukur after this.

I have some bitcoins, dogecoin and litecoin, not alot, but last time I invested a bit by buying from the Japan trading site.

I plan to sell a bit and buy RM keep, I took finance as minor last time in college, but never got to apply it IRL, you guys think this is a wise financial decision?
