I want to get a new hdd for my notebook. There is ide and sata for sale, but i dont know which is mine. I checked my system original configuration and it states 40GB Ultra ATA hdd. That is IDE right?

STPM

I'm taking STPM soon. At 1st i wasn't worried, it was just another exam i have to take. But now that i think about it, it's going to be tough. Let's say i don't do well in it and maybe 2B 2C or maybe 1A 1B 2C only. What are my future with taking STPM if i don't score well? I know entering to public would be impossible then, but what about private? Do they have requirements for your academic achievement? I don't want to stop studying that's for sure. I'm in science and taking physics.

This tuesday i'm going to register for form 6 at Sekolah Menengah SS17 Subang Jaya. What am i suppose to wear? As far as i know form 6 uniform differs from form 1-5 uniform. Students/ex-students of SMK SS17 help me please.

Is all uniform for form 6 same in every school? After my registration in SMK SS17 i actually intend to appeal to change my school to SMK SAS in Petaling Jaya. Is the uniform there different?

SMS alert problem

I'm using Nokia N80 and DiGi prepaid. Recently maybe few days ago my SMS alert isn't functioning. When i receive a sms my phone doesn't ring the sms tone. It doesn't vibrate too. At the screen suppose to show 1 sms received but mine doesn't. I only know i receive sms if i check my inbox. This is abit troublesome.

Is it my phone problem or DiGi? Because my mom say she experiencing it too but she using DiGi postpaid.

My prepaid report of balance from 200 gets automatically deleted from my inbox which didn't happen last time.

Samsung warranthy

Okay so this is what happened. I purchased a Samsung LCD and it comes with 3 years limited warranthy, but the problem now is i didn't check the warranthy card! It says i need to mail it to them 7 days after purchase. I didn't. Am i doom? Or are they able to check for warranthy status with the serial number? I got receipt from the seller btw.

Clearing CMOS

Okay i messed up my BIOS settings. If i were to clear CMOS using the jumper located at the motherboard, will my BIOS settings return to default or will the values be blank? Because if it were to be blank then i am in trouble because i don't remember the default settings.

The whole day today my dog coughing. I am almost certain that something stuck in his throat. He would cough and try to vommit then after a while it ends but nothing comes out. Minutes later he will cough again and he is choking each time. What can i do?

Few minutes ago a small piece of apple sizing around 2mm x 2xmm x 1mm(w X l X h) fell on the right eye of my dog.

I successfully took it out using my hand and even tried cotton bud but my hands did it. Now i see there's nothing at the eye but do i need to bring him to the vet? His eye isn't irritating or watering. I touched the eye abit though.

Is there chance his eye get infection from my hand?

Is it known for dogs to have eye infection easily?

What are the sympthoms of an infection?

Will there be any worse thing that can happen?

What will happen following an eye infection?

Cycling

Is cycling an effective way of exercise? Is it adviseable to do cycling as the only way of exercise? I used to go swimming but now am kind of busy. So now i want to try cycling as an exercise to keep my body healthy. Is it okay for cycling to be the only exercise i do?

A Levels

Recently SPM result was released. I'm a PTS student so i'm 1 year younger than those taking spm same year like me. My result wasn't very good comparing to my brother which took SPM the same time i took SPM. So my mom was worried whether or not i would survive STPM so she considered A Levels. Let's say if i take A Levels in taylors college. How much would it cost?

After A Levels what can i do? Can i apply for local public universities? If i'm going to take degree of electrical engineering where can i apply after A Levels? Most of my friends continue their degree in colleges. But my mom would want me to go university. So do local U accept A Levels?

Eletric guitar

I intend to learn to play eletric guitar. But i don't know anything about it. So do i go for eletric guitar lessons or i start by buying books and practise myself? Is there any good electric guitar tutors around SS14/15 SuBang Jaya. And how much does it cost?

My brother use to learn electric guitar. He had 2 tutors...1 teach him how to do tricks with the guitar and the amp and the other teach him how to play notes. Which is the right way?

Problem with DiGi?

When i speak during a call using my mobile phone i will hear echo of my own voice. Like if i say something, then i will hear it too after like 1 second. My brother say it's DiGi. Is it? Is there anyway to fix it?

Headache

I have headache for 2 weeks already and going to SJMC this Saturday. Been relying on Panadol and i think maybe something's wrong with me. Which section must i go? And since it's headache most probably i get MRI or some head scan, is it? Anyone experience this before? How much will it roughly be for maybe consultation and MRI scan or something?

Headache i think

Okay i have encountered this thing twice...the thing is that when i stand up from a lower position i will have a headache. Maybe it's not a headache but i will lose my balance, i fell down once and the 2nd time i got to hold on something. Besides that i will also feel that my head is very hot and can feel it at my ears. Is this normal? If it's headache then it's kinda normal right but then my head really feels hot.
