At the risk of sounding foolish, I realised that whenever I select PCM 5.1 Audio, the AVR always registers as 2.0 input. Why is this so?

Boys,

Need some advice here. I know 7.1 is becoming the defacto standard in HT systems. I am planning in only a 5.1 (ok, ok, no budget). So I need to know, if I go 5.1, will I be missing a lot in terms of AQ/effects? How many titles support true 7.1 channels anyway?

Anyone has reviewed this? Will Philips have a plasma version of this? And how will it affect the 'normal ratio-ed' videos? Will it be stretched?

As we speak, the G10 has finally arrived and shipped to dealers. RRP = RM6,399. TV ONLY.

The S10's RRP = RM4,499.

Major difference btw the two is the NeoPDP.

Want some feedback as whether the NeoPDP is worth the extra RM2K?

Wireless HTS

Need another HTS help. Been wanting to get a wireless (rear speakers) one but heard from my 'half-bucket full' friends that the SQ will be terrible. Though I know the SQ might suffer a bit, but I hope to know by how much? Very noticeable? Bad enough to choose not to go wireless?

I notice nowadays the (budget) HT systems all come together with the DVD player. I do not need an additional player. Any recommendations for just a 5.1 system AND wireless back speakers? Budget around RM1K.

I need some recommendations on some great 2 player (via wifi) games. Currently I have tried Mario Kart and New Mario Bros and nothing beats playing against humans compared to AI ! What other exciting 2 player games can I look forward to?

This might be a stupid question but I still need help How do I change my profile name? eg. If I have set 'ABC', it will appear automatically as my profile's 'name' or 'savegame name', etc. Even in different games. How do I change it already???

NDSL Battery Life

My current setting is 2nd lowest and I am averaging 6-7 hours of gameplay. The manual tells me to expect at least 10 hours. My questions are:-

1) Manuals being manuals, is this the general expected hours for that setting?

2) Are there 'compatible/3rd party' (alright, fake) battery or charger for the NDSL?
