my display keep flickering

hi, the problem quite very long. the symptom is just my display blink for a black one, and then come back to normal. the problem began using gc 5 - 6 months ago. im just ignored it since i thought it was my external gc. so the step that i've done was :

1) change new gc, still the same problem occurred.
2) try using on board display, still the same.

i tried to browse a few thread on the net, they suspecting :

1) psu issues
2) try to clean up the ram and also mobo

FYI, this is quite old spec.

Recover Partition on EXTERNAL - accidently format

I just accidently format my external hdd 320gb using USB FORMAT but actually the process interuptted because of currently maybe im using the external. So, I guessed it not format my data yet, but I just can't open it. When I plugged the external hdd to usb port, it appears Format Now to use. I just feel that ext hdd only cannot bootable - maybe missing boot loader, etc that won't allow me to see my partition that were created at the external. I also can't access my data. So pls expert out there give me an advise & opinion for me to retrieve my data back. I know there's a lot of data recovery out there, but my situation totally different. I'm sure the data still there ( NOT FORMAT ) but the boot loader for the external already gone that make my external can't be access. There's a lot of my important data there.

Problem details as you all know, YES broadband totally can handle very quick in dload. So I would like to share about my problem. I just want to know either my network card cant handle udp packet as the packet is very quick.
First occurence of problem: incase dload above 10mb, so the internet access will drop packet (disconnet) after performed quick speed. eg 500kbps - 1.1mbps in dloading
Problem frequency: when trying to dload large size of MB
Problem description: no problem if browsing, etc. just dloading large file of MB will happen

PC wont start, HAVE TO I hit the keyboard to START

according to the topic, I never experience this things before. OK, firstly I would like to explain a little bit further about this. This PC already run for almost 8 - 9 month without any failure like that. My situation is, when I turned on the PC, or restart the PC, my pc wont go to the post bios AUTOMATICALLY, I had to hit the KEYBOARD to make them works. Just like my pc is on SLEEP MODE. But how come ? Do you copy ? So the step that I had taken

1) try to check the power setting inside the OS
2) install fresh windows ( FORMAT )
3) RESET JUMPER and also REMOVE CMOS Battery
4) Try to change the ram slot ( also clean them with rubber )

So the problem still happening. So what should I do next ? Remove all the components attached and re-install the component ?

some info : I do not have PCI-E slot gc, etc.

First occurence of problem: Modem always device disable automatically
Problem frequency: Device disable
Problem description: When successfully connecting to the line, I managed to surf for a while before my modem informed that device disable, maybe were using by other's program, etc

Action that has been taken : Upgrade firmware, upgrade dashboard. But the problem still resist. How can I solve for this one ? Is it my modem already damaged, or there's something wrong with my firmware, dashboard, etc ?

Which 1 is more preferable ?

Hi, im a webmaster currently doing totally fully website by my own. I made a layout 1024 x 768 and completely suitable for 20' lcd without having to scroll down or whatsoever. but for the moment, I have been some trouble. dear all. i bought tx2032au last year 30 july 2008. after a year using this model, lastly this model cannot display bios when started. when this happened, all things cant work including to boot at windows. so what to do ? whats is the problem now ? mobo problem ? overheating ? no more warranty left.
