Graphics Card Upgrade

Current setup: Intel Core 2 Quad, Mobo LGA775 socket, EN980GT DDR3, DDR2 RAM. I'm thinking to upgrade a new graphics card ranging between RM700-800. Would this cause a bottle neck to the system? Or upgrade whole system? Purpose is to play games on a better specs.

Google Map Searching for GPS

Currently on Huawei P8 Lite, ALE-21 (ALE-L21C636B170) running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). EMUI 3.1 and Google Map version 9.32.1 Anyone else having this constant "Searching for GPS" problem? Just realize this when I wanted to use it the other day. WiFi, GPS, all switched on, and set to High Accuracy with GPS Acceleration. Any idea?

Upgrade, or Rebuild?

Hi, hi. Currently running Windows 7 32 bit on the following:

1) Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 GHz Q9550
2) Asus P5QL-Pro Intel LGA775
3) Asus EN9800GT DDR3 512MB
4) Kingston HyperX 4GB 800MHz DDR2

I'm thinking to upgrade to Windows 10 64 bit and pump up the RAM beyond 4GB, maybe 16GB, if I still manage to find DDR2 RAM. And also to switch to a 2GB graphics card like GTX740 or GTX750.

Still doable for moderate gaming purposes? Or rebuild a new PC from scratch?

good morning, all. i've got a file created and saved with ms office 2010 in .pptx as the ori file. i tried opening the .pptx in ms office 2003, some formatting and alignment tends to be out. then, i used the ori file and save as to .ppt with ms office 2010. again, i opened it in ms office 2003, and the aligntment and formatting tends to run a little. is this due to the incompatibilty issue between 2010 and 2003? the formatting stays the same if i'm to save the .pptx to .pdf. thanks a bunch!

hello! i'm trying to play a playlist of .mpg files continuously in full screen mode, but randomly throught the list, it'll automatically pop out from full screen and back to the original wmp mode. i've added /fullscreen command line to the player, but still the same problem. any advice?

other than the conventional way of using mouse traps, any other way to get rid of them? anyone know how to prevent them? say, i was told that peppermint would drive them away, but unsure how true is that. any help?
i don't want to start a mickey mouse club in my house la, haha.

Win 7 and HDD

Hi

I'm currently using one HDD with several partitions. I've formatted C: (Windows XP) and installed Windows 7 to C: All the process was smooth flowing without any errors or problems until I checked on the My Computer as shown in the attachment. Why are my other partitions being marked with a red cross? FYI, all these drives are working fine, but why these red cross on the drives?

Attached are snapshots of My Computer and Disk Management.

Any advice from the gurus here?

CPU failed to Power-on

hello and good morning!

i'm currently running on a Asus P5QL-Pro Intel LGA775 P43 chipset with a Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 GHz Q9550. i've replaced my ori CPU Intel heatsink/fan with a CoolerMaster V8 heatsink/fan. my enquiry is if the CoolerMaster V8 requires a higher input of power to fully utilize it? my current PSU is a CoolerMaster Extreme Power 550W. please advice. TQVM!

the reason that i replaced my old heatsink/fan is due to the loud sound emitting from the fan and also that i notice an error from my BIOS indicating that my CPU is overheated, occasionally when i boot up the PC.

after a few days of installing the CM V8, my CPU failed to power-on completely. checked the motherboard, there is no light on the LED. even the fan isn't spinning when i connect the PSU directly to either the front/rear fan. i replaced with a Coolermaster Extreme Power 450W, and still the problem persists. i tested the 450W PSU on another system, it's working fan. but i've yet to test on the CM 550W, though.

correct me if i'm wrong, but does this mean my motherboard is kaput, including the 2 system fans? i can't really tell on the status of the CM 550W, yet. any idea on the root cause? the CM V8?

worse, all the warranty ngam-ngam habis...

and i've just reactivated/subscribed my WoW account!!

it gives me an error "Failed to find a suitable display device. Exiting program" whenever i launched WoW
all drivers are up to date, including directx, but still the same problem
need assistance if anyone would be able to offer, please

btw, i'm running WoW on this CPU for the first, time
