The US Army Is Equipping Soldiers With Pocket-Sized Recon Drones!!

The U.S. Army has placed a $39 million order for tiny reconnaissance drones, small enough to fit in a soldier’s pocket or palm.

The idea behind the drones, which are made by FLIR Systems and look like tiny menacing helicopters, is that soldiers will be able to send them into the sky of the battlefield in order to get a “lethal edge” during combat, according to Business Insider.

FLIR Systems is currently delivering its “nano-unmanned aerial vehicles,” which it calls Black Hornet Personal Reconnaissance Systems, according to a press release that says the Army is starting an “initial integration” of the drones.

“This contract represents a significant milestone with the operational large-scale deployment of nano-UAVs into the world’s most powerful Army,” said Jim Cannon, the CEO of FLIR Systems, in the press release.

This movie is awesome. Kick, punch, slash, high kick, low kick, you name it. The location for this movie is at Indonesia and some Indonesia actors and extra man are in the movie and production. After watching this movie, I feel ashamed with us Malaysia. The quality top notch 👍 and why Indonesia and not Malaysia?? I know, cause we Malaysia are so sensitive (you know what I mean) 🤦 Bila mau maju ohh film Malaysia?? 🤦🤦

Anyway, I really recommend this movie for those who like pure actions movie. 4 out 5 stars from me..

After much speculations, Samsung has officially unveiled the 2018 edition of its Galaxy A7 smartphone. True to what we have heard before, the new phone does come with not one, not two but three cameras on its back.

According to the specs sheet, the setup consisted of the main 24MP f/1.7 snapper alongside an 8MP f/2.4 120-degrees camera and 5MP f/2.2 depth camera. They are being arranged in vertical order with the depth camera being on top before followed by the main and ultra-wide cameras.

Soon will be 4 camera then 5 and so on.. max how many?? Let you guys guess.. stupid trend 😵

My verdict on this movie is 8/10. Sorry no spoilers for you guys. Graphics effect is improve compare to full metal alchemist movie. On par with Hollywood 👍👍👍👍 Story wise, I think they going to make second movie. Watch it and you won't regard it 😎

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal stressed that there is no restriction on the use of English in Sabah.
He said everyone knows that Bahasa Melayu is the national language, as stated in the Constitution, and there is no restriction on the use of English in teaching and learning in the country.

"There is no restriction on the use of English in Sabah. We are all aware and know that Bahasa Melayu is the national language, as enshrined in the Constitution, and there is no restriction on the use of English in the learning process in this country," he said.

"I don't know it is restricted (to use English). (But) There are certain subjects which we are using English like Science and Mathematics. There is no restriction stated in the Constitution on the use of English," he said, after officiating at the Forum Malaysia Day organised by United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (Upko) at Likas Square Condotel Hotel, Monday. Deputy Chief Minister cum Trade and Industries Minister Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau, had earlier referred to the Education Ministry's written reply recently that the use of English as a medium of instruction in schools (in Sabah and Sarawak), would violate the Federal Constitution, National Language Act 1963/67 and the Education Act 1996.

"If the Education Ministry stated that it is unlawful for English be used in Sabah, I think we cannot allow it and we need to undo it...because for example how will our young people be able to work in private firms or organisations where English is part of the requirement," Tangau had said.

Shafie said; "If we look from the perspective of the Malaysia Agreement 1963, English is still widely use on the daily basis. There is no restriction and limitation on its use. Even in the Dewan Rakyat, if we asked for the Speaker permission, we can speak in English...so there is no restriction, limitation, in using the language.

"That's why we are going to have all the vocational schools also use English in certain subjects in our effort to upskill our young people. It is something that needs to be done."

He said the State Government will look into it if there is a need for a change in law on the matter.

On Tangau's call for the State Government to strengthen its position with regards to the State's oil and gas, Shafie said apparently, he was made to understand by the State Attorney-General that "we do have a Mineral Enactment in Sabah. So I think I will look into it, I will ask the AG to look into the detail parts of it to see if there is any loophole. If it is there then we just need to reactivate it to make sure Sabah, like Sarawak, has the power," he said.

On the forum, Shafie said he welcomed the effort by Upko in organising it so Sabahans can get to know and find out, as well as formulating ways towards making success of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 agenda.

Qualcomm Announces New aptX Adaptive

During IFA 2018, Qualcomm announced a new wireless audio codec created for the wire-free music listening experience. The aptX Adaptive standard aims to deliver a robust, hi-res and glitch-free listening experience to the masses.

According to Qualcomm, the new codec is designed “to adjust automatically to provide optimum audio quality depending on what content is being played on the device and the external radio frequency (RF) environment.” To put it simply; audio played through a device with the new codec automatically adjusts the volume and quality of the audio.

The new codec will also automatically select between low latency and high-frequency transmissions on the same built-in antenna without the user fiddling with its settings. More importantly, aptX Adaptive will also support older codecs such as aptX and aptX HD.

Qualcomm said that the new codec will be introduced with a yet-to-be announced chipset, which presumably is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. This means that the first devices featuring the new codec will only be out sometime early next year. Which in our estimation, would also be around CES 2019.

The development of aptX Adaptive also marks the beginning of the demise of the 3.5mm audio jack. As it stands, many premium smartphones in today’s market ship come without a 3.5mm headphone port. As smartphone makers are opting to creating a more seamless and wireless ecosystem with their phones.
