Autogate and Solar

Scenario:
Already existing autogate system power by main and battery backup.

Goal:
To have the autogate system powered by Solar and battery backup.

What I understand is I can get a solar panel and solar charge controller to charge the battery.
25W panel with 10A PWM charge controller would suffice. The issue is now how can I do it.
Anyone done this before? Care to share how?

Hi, I'm thinking to replace my old hikvision SDI cctv to IPCam. My requirement is the IPCam must have ONVIF support so I can directly record them using my existing NVR.
My choices at the moment is either TPLink Tapo or EZVIZ.

Anyone have experience in using them?

Can I use existing 12v power to power them instead of using the supplied power adapter?

PUTRAJAYA - Seorang peserta terjun tapak, maut selepas dipercayai terjatuh ketika melakukan latihan payung terjun dari bangunan Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita Keluarga dan Masyarakat (KPWKM) di sini, Jumaat.

Dalam kejadian 5.35 petang itu Azuan Taharudin, 49, bersama tujuh lagi penerjun Pasukan Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) sedang melakukan latihan terjunan tapak sempena Hari Wilayah 2021.

Ketua Polis Daerah Putrajaya, Asisten Komisioner Mohd Fadzil Ali berkata, ketika melakukan terjunan, mangsa dikatakan hilang kawalan terhadap payung terjun yang digunakan dan jatuh di sisi bangunan itu.

“Mangsa yang parah dibawa ke Hospital Putrajaya untuk rawatan dan kemudian disahkan meninggal dunia 6.10 petang,” katanya ketika dihubungi pada Jumaat.

Beliau berkata, latihan Terjun Tapak 2021 ini, dikelolakan pegawai PPj dan ia melibatkan pasukan penerjun dari pelbagai agensi termasuk agensi berkenaan.

Back in early December 2019 I placed an order for a HyperX Cloud Flight. Amazon charged me the usual shipping and export fees. No complaint there.

Just now, I got an email telling me $10.20 (RM41.72) was refunded on my visa, reason for refund: Export fee reduced

I had no idea that was even an option. But, in no way I'm complaining.

So, thats my mundane /k post for today. Now I can treat myself that new KFC tandoori chicken for lunch tomorrow.

Simpang Pulai assemblyman Tan Kar Hing said Tasik Cermin started to receive attention from visitors some 10 years back thanks to social media.

Tasik Cermin is located in Simpang Pulai constituency.

“It is not gazetted as a tourist spot due to overlapping ownership of areas leading to the lake,” Tan told Malay Mail.

“But the lake area itself belongs to the Perak state government.”

He added that the Ipoh City Council maintains it.

Tan said Tasik Cermin is popular among visitors as it is one of the easily accessible sites under the Kinta Valley Geopark.

The former state tourism, arts and culture committee chairman under the Pakatan Harapan government called for holistic planning to develop the area.

“There is a need to gazette Tasik Cermin into a tourist spot so that better facilities can be put in place.”

“As of now, the state is losing out on getting an income from it,” he said, suggesting that a token sum be taken from visitors first to upkeep the area.

Anyone noticed shopee is using Let's Encrypt as their SSL unlike other shopping portals that use more secure SSL such as Comodo, Digicert, Globalsign etc?

Why is this matter? For me its fine to use LE for personal website or on a website that kept non-sensitive details but Shopee?
LE only provide Domain Validation (DV) instead of what being normally used by others i.e. Organization Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) certificates

Hi, can I have recommendation for the best AV receiver and 5.1 speaker within my budget that can deliver 4K HDR Pass through. (Atmos + DTS-X is bonus)

Budget RM2000 (can stretch to 3K if really needed)
Connectivity: FireTV Stick 4K, PS4 via HDMI
Brand: any reliable brand

My current setup is Samsung NU8000 with LG BH7530TW. The LG is full HD unfortunately. So now I'm looking to replace the LG with an AVR with 5.1 speakers.
