However, I also have an older notebook in which I had bought a PCMCIA USB2.0 hub. The drive would not mount (this means that you would not see the drive on the My Computer) although it can detect it. Tried it on my friends notebook, also with an expandable PCMCIA USB2.0 hub (of a different brand) and it doesn&#39;t work either. Plugging it to the slower USB1.1 slot, and it works fine. <br /><br />Now, the main reason I bought it is to be a backup drive for my Powerbook G4. I don&#39;t really care for my Windows-OS notebooks. Now, same problem here as well, can detect but would not mount the drive. Any MAC experts here that can help?
