hi thinking to get GPS receiver for PDA. found these two. pls discuss the pros and cons. thanks

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Holux with their signature MTK low voltage chipset having very good battery life where it can last as long as 23hours but it sacrifice the sensitivity as a trade off.. however, im still able to get signal under shaded area (flyover, roof, bridge etc) because this GPS also is a Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) which is an enhancement to Global Positioning System that uses a network of fixed ground based reference stations to broadcast the difference between the positions indicated by the satellite systems and the known fixed positions. These stations broadcast the difference between the measured satellite pseudoranges and actual (internally computed) pseudoranges, and receiver stations may correct their pseudoranges by the same amount. The only let down is when it is in DGPS mode, ur position is unstable so if u have alot road nearby, it might register u at the other side of the road sweat.gif
can read more on wikipedia

On the other side, Routee outlook is more stylish with its black matte surface and metallic red side lining. This GPS also uses the world famous SIRF III chipset which is superior in tracking satelite signal.. so far, unless 100% covered ceilling, i have no problem with signal loss with this device thumbup.gif I even placed them in the middle of my car and it still works! Routee is not a DGPS but in the shaded region like i mentioned earlier, it can accurately state ur position. Battery life however is a trade off for the superior tracking, lasting about 15hours or so and the battery is not changeable sweat.gif

Quoted from imperialrealcs

my mobo is biostar 6100am2. i need a software to control my exra fan cos the fan is kinda noisy. it is a silent fan but i think the fan speed is high so it produce some noise. i tried speedfan 4.32 but it could only detect my heatsink fan (my extra fan is attached to mobo also). is there any other software to control the fan speed? thanks for helping
