Advice for New Monitor

Hey guys,

Recently my eyes are starting to strain from staring into my small laptop screen and I have been saving up some funds to buy a new monitor, not much, between 500-600 (have a little more buffer as well, depending on recommendation). I wanted to ask for opinion as this is my first time buying and using a monitor (previously my job was pretty mobile, so i always rely on my laptop). A few questions:

1) I'm using for work and also to watch shows (usually 1080p & blueray quality). Hence, is 60hz enough or should i get 144hz?
2) Built-in speaker - should I get one that has it or can I get one without and just buy an external speaker and plug it into the screen to compensate?
3) Panel type & size - Should I go for IPS or VA? What size should I get?
4) Most important question - what's everyone's recommendation with my budget

I know is a buttload of question but thank you all! Trying to get the answers here and if need be only drop by an IT shop. Trying to not go to a commercial store due to covid

Thanks!

80" TV recommendation

Hey guys, helping a friend who's looking to buy a +/- 80" TV with a budget of not more than +/- 15k. Was wondering what would be a good brand out there?
It will be for daily use and be placed in the living hall and preferably something simple to navigate and with less complication i.e. easy UI.
Thanks.

Hey guys,

My cousin won a Asus TUF Gaming FX505D-UAL114T laptop and would like to sell me at 3.2k.
Hi Guys, was wondering if anyone here has experience in using different payment gateway provided (either online or offline-credit card terminal). Due to the substantial difference in the costs (from one-time off and recurring costs), I was wondering if there are any differences in the service provided by the different providers such as MOLpay, Ipay88, GHL etc.

Would appreciate if anyone here can share their experience. This is my first time sussing out using payment gateway.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Admin, got my topic deleted twice, just wanted to find out why.
My post was on getting people's feedback on the understanding of mental health in Malaysia via a survey (no personal data was collected i.e. name, email, phone number). When it was deleted the first time around, there was no warning. Second time around i put in my post for admin to let me know if I have crossed any line but my post was deleted in 1-2 days without too.
May I know why, would really like to gauge more people's thought on Mental Health in Malaysia.
Thanks!

Hi Guys,

Sorry, newbie in networking-related matters. I have both DIR-820L & 850L router and i plan to use either one as a repeater to strengthen the signal of my internet connection (currently 2nd floor has pretty weak signal).
I tried to turn the 850L into repeater mode (via the option) but once i does it, I can no longer "access" the router to repeat the signal from the DIR-820L.
Does anyone know whats the easiest way to use either one as a repeater?
Really appreciate it.

Thanks.
