(Urgently) Where to buy wedding card envelope

Hi guys,

Need a favour from u all.

We are designing our own wedding invitation card and now we need to look for a maroon red / red envelope, preferably comes with the 喜喜 stamp (if no also ok). Size of the wedding card is 3.9 x 5.9 inch. I need to buy about 350 pieces.

Can anyone recommend me any shops where I am able to get the envelope? I survey some in ss2, price is high to me, minimum price about RM 1 per piece.

Due to time constraints, I can't buy from taobao as it would take them about 10 to 14 days. We need it urgently

Recommendations for legal firm for housing loan

Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a house and would like to know which legal firm serves you well (e.g. fast response, caveat ur agreements nicely, timely update) and still within good pricing.

I would engage the lawyer to do up both SPA and loan agreement, and I only want them to focus on housing loan, i.e. not involve in other litigation cases/ court cases.

I'm planing to apply for either AIA or Maybank home loan.

Any recommendations or inputs?

Ridzuan condo vs other condos

Hi all sifus

Currently am considering a unit in Ridzuan condo, size is 1,400sqf ++ Price is about RM500k.

I'm buying for family ownstay - i.e. planning to start a family in the next couple of years.

I've seen the unit and is in good condition and I like the design too. The parking is quite near to the unit. I heard that the new JMB is doing a better job than the previous ones so things are looking better than the last 5 - 6 years. Btw, lifts - 3 out of 4 are working

The reasons that makes me interested in Ridzuan are because:

1) I like the location, still within the vicinity of PJ (near to Pyramid and SS15 and traffic access to LDP -> Sprint Highway is still bearable).
2) Price!!!! RM360 per sqf looks attractive to me and is quite spacious compared to other condos like V-Residensi 2 or Bukit Gembira.
3) So far the new JMB is doing a much better job for the condo. I've asked some of the residents there and safety is better than before.
4) Rental attractiveness. I'm planning to rent out 1 room for the first few years before starting a family there.

I want to know, compare to other condos (e.g. Goodyear court, V-Residensi 2, Bukit Gembira), is Ridzuan a good choice? Any sifus staying there or nearby has thoughts on this?

Of course I would prefer to have a landed, freehold property in PJ but with 500k, I would say that is impossible.

Would appreciate if anyone of you can share some thoughts on it.

Hi all

Recently I've upgraded my graphic card and when use for movie / surfing shows no issues.

However, when I started gaming (Crysis 2), straight away my PC auto restarts at the same cutscene. I've re-tried again, it still restarts at the same cutscene.

Wondering what happened, I put it aside, and try Starcraft II HOS, it plays well for the first few missions

But, my pc restart again when I reach one of the cutscenes. I re-tried, the problem still persist and my pc restarts on the SAME cutscene.

I also tried benching Heaven, but it didn't manage to run past more than 20 seconds, and it restarts again.

My pc temperature before the crash is around 60 C++ and GC is around 50 C ++

I've run memtest on my pc and it shows no error.

I tried to pump my GC voltage with MSI Afterburner +5 and it doesn't help either.

Does anyone have any idea on why is my pc behaving like this?

Just some background info, I've done a clean install of windows 7 64 bit, clean install of Nvidia's latest driver. So, I don't think reformatting my pc will help. I also have antivirus installed and updated right after I install my windows.

My PC spec if as below:

Intel E7500 - 2.93ghz (no overclocking)
Gigabyte EP43
1- 750 GB HDD
1- 320 GB HDD
2gb DDR2 RAM
MSI Geforce GTX 770 Gaming
Silverstone ST56F

CPU shutdown without warning

Hi guys, recently i notice just 1 week before, my pc keeps on shutting down after 2 to 4 hours of usage. Is not that when i'm running some heavy duty programs or playing games then my pc shut down. Even when i leave my comp on without doing anything, just d/ling, it will shut down without any warning.

1) I know that this could be due to overheating but my temperatures are fine, below 45C.
2) I did do abit of deletion of files using advance system care before the problem arises. So, i've already repaired my win xp. But still, the problem persists.
3) I didn't install any new hardware to my comp, so i'm sure this is not a cause of insufficient power supply. And i'm using AVR all the tme
4) I did full scan using kaspersky 2010 and super antispyware, all shown clean results.

Any experts can kindly provide some advice to me on what methods should i try? I know this could be due to PSU failure but is sad that all of my nearby friends are using laptop, so is very hard and inconvenient for me to find an extra PSU for testing.

My spec:

Silverstone ST56F 560W (I've used it for about 2 and half years)
E7500 no OC
ATI 5770 no OC
2 HDD
3 Gb of ram

I've been running on this spec since last year. This problem only arised since last week. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PC performance just got worse!

Hi guys, i just upgraded some parts of my pc.

E7500 (2.9ghz) (Previously is E6300 1.86ghz oc to 2.4ghz)
Gigabyte EP 43 UD3L (Previously is Gigabyte EP35)

Now i didn't do any oc to my current processor. However, when i play the same game (Resident evil 5 and Batman AA, the fps reduced by about 15!) I really dunno what happened. After upgrading, i just did windows xp repair, didn't install any new devices or software.

I don't think is virus cuz the first thing i do after upgrade and repairing win xp, i straight away try out the games. Really confusing now

Can't install ATI driver

Hi guys, recently i just upgrade my card to XFX 5770. Previously i was using Nvidia card. But i'm encountering some problem now.

I've tried to boot in safemood, use Driver Cleaner to clean all the nvidia drivers. After that, i downloaded the latest ATI driver from ati website, which is the version 9.11. However, when i tried to install, it always hang at the part where "installing ATI Catalyst Install Manager". After that, it will restart. The jamming place is always the same place. But the weird thing is that, when i go to the control panel add or remove program, it will have the ATI Catalyst Install Manager. I've tried to remove it, but like the same thing, it will restart. I also tried to "shift + delete" then reinstall, still failed.

My hardware:
E6300 1.86ghz
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP35 (LGA 775, PCI Express)
*I came across some website stating that HD 5770 doesn't work on PCI Express 1.0 mobo, only 2.0. But i've checked XFX website it says both are compatible.
PSU: Silverstone ST56F 560W
Ram: 2GB

Previously, my same spec is able to run 8800GT smoothly, so i'm sure that this is not a power issue. And also, when it hang, it will produce some "tick-tock" sound that will occur to my mobo when i shut down. After the sound, the comp will restart.

*P/S I tried to switch back to nvidia (7600GT) and everything was ok. After that, i uninstall nvida driver, and install ATI driver, still failed. Also, when i load into the window, previously i mistakenly press "Don't notify me to install this new hardware" option when i install ATI. So, when i insert my card, it will not prompt "Windows has detected a new hardware", unlike 7600 GT.

Anyone can lend me a hand? Most of the topics that i found on google is about problems encountered AFTER installing the driver, not before

Comp default language is Chinese?

Hi guys, recently i've installed chinese language from the Win XP disc. However, it SEEMS like now has take over my comp default language, even though everything seems quite normal, i can type English, in desktop, the language bar shows EN, instead of chinese. However, e.g. when i lock (Start + L) my comp, and the caps button is on, it will notify me that my CAPS button is on in Chinese, when i check for update for JetAudio, it will display in Chinese also. However, when i update others e.g. Ad-aware, it still shows English.

I didn't do anything specific changes to the programs mentioned above. I've scanned my comp with anti virus and spyware, shows everything is ok.

Can anyone teach me how to solve it? I just want to solve it, don't want to uninstall the chinese software as i need it to view my chinese subs anime

Recommended graphic card?

Hi guys, recently i'm planning to upgrade my current GPU from 8800 GT to either one of the cards mentioned above. I think the performance increment will be quite noticeable is it? My current spec:

E6300 1.86ghz oc to 2.6ghz
2GB DDR 2 RAM
Gigabyte EP35
Silverstone ST56F 560W
2x 7,200 RPM HDD
Monitor is 17" i think (Maximum resolution is 1280 x 1024 pixels)

What i'm confused is that i read reviews from Tom's hardware and tech up and Legion hardware, the performance for 4870 and GTX 275 are quite varied. But i noticed that overall, GTX 275 is faster than 4870 by about 15 - 20%. Since my resolution is not as high as theirs and my processor is not as strong as theirs (they use i7) , and my processor will bottleneck the GPU, i was wondering which is the best choice? Is the GTX 275 worthwhile? This is my final upgrade that i'm going to spend on my cpu b4 completely buying a new one after a few years. Btw, i don't plan to upgrade my monitor or cpu cuz i prefer to have a smoother frame rates and also budget constraints.

I like to play games alot e.g. resident evil 5, COD 4, Street fighter 4, C&C Red alert 3, Dawn of War etc etc and also looking forward for upcoming titles e.g. Bioschock 2, Crysis 2, Mafia 2 etc etc Btw, just to point out sth, my casing doesn't have a very good airflow, so, temperature will be quite high.

My budget is around RM 600 - 800. I've been using Geforce all the while and i heard that ATI cards offered good values, but sometimes, their drivers aren't as well supported as nvidia, came out later than nvidia. Thus, i hope that if u recommend me to switch to ATI, pls clarify v me whether this problems still exist or not. Cuz last time if i remembered correctly was that ATI and Nvidia users faced problems in GTA 4, but nvidia was quicker to release drivers to fix it.

Which psu calculator is accurate?

Hi guys, i'm planning for an upgrade for my graphic card. But i'm not sure whether my psu can support the new card thus i used 2 psu calculators, one is from extreme outervision while the other is the newegg psu calculator. But these 2 calculators gave me a way different results. So i'm asking all ur opinions on which one is more accurate?

My specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86ghz oc to 2.6ghz
2x 7,200 RPM SATA Seagate hard drives

XFX 8800 GT 512MB
2 1GB DDR 2 RAM

Hi guys, hope i post in the correct section. Just wondering, what is a good mp3 player for a s60 3rd edition phone? Mine is 6120 c model. Besides LCG jukebox, any software that is good and free as well?

I personally tried jet audio and winamp in my computer and i really heard a difference in terms of the quality played by the 2 players. So, i'm wondering is there any good mp3 player for phone that can improve the quality of the music played.

Hi guys, can anyone suggest a good earphone for me to listen to mp3 songs? I'm using Nokia 6120 but i bought the jack for 3.5mm, so i'm planning to buy an earphone to listen to mp3, with good sound and bass quality.

I only want those that are small earphones, which can completely put inside the ear (Those usually which comes with the purchase of hp, with the shape of an aeroplane), not those big ones . Can anyone suggest a good model for me?

Gigabyte EP35-DS3

Hi guys, juz bought a new EP35-DS3 So far, no really serious issues from this board. Quite satisfy. But, i faced a little problem.

1) When i enter a specific folder in my portable hardisk, eg: anime folder, it will hang there, and the "performance" bar in the windows task manager will rise very fast, until 70 - 100% usage. Then, when i close the folder, it still runs very high, didn't reduce at all. Other folders are fine. When i try to remove the usb cable (safely remove tat one), it said "device is still using" even though i closed the folder already and back to windows. After closing everything, including the "media player" also can't remove safely. I scanned the folder, nothing, no virus.

2) I reliased maybe due to too many files, so, i change the "view" option to "list" instead of "details" Then everything is ok. But sometimes will cause the performance to shoot up very fast and didn't fall back. I didn't face this kind of problem v my previous Abit ab9 pro motherboard nor an AMD Athlon XP 1.86ghz (6 years old PC)

3) I oc a little bit for testing. From my E6300 1.86ghz to 2.1ghz. Somehow, when i restart, the computer will "beep", then follow by a "zzzz" buzz sound. After i restore everything to default, at first still occurs, but after that, restart comp again, it just "beep" once, normal. Wat is happening? :sweat

Any users can help me out here? Really appreciate it. Thx in advance

Hi guys, i'm thinking a bit on changing my motherboard. Well, if i really go for an upgrade. Which motherboard should i buy?

My processor:
E6300 1.86 ghz(plan to oc to 2.4 ghz for 24/7) (oc to 3.2ghz when gaming, no 24/7)

My budget is around rm 300 - 400
Gigabyte P35-DS3 or P35 DS3 L?

I'm 24/7 on and i hope do abit of ocing. Not those extreme v water cooling And i assume DS3 can last longer than DS3L right? since it is ultra durable 2. Or is just almost the same I hope the motherboard can last me at least 2 years. I don't want those ultra expensive motherboard like Asus Maximus Formula, wl burn my wallet

Or u hv better recommendation for me? Pls voice out. Thx in advance

Hi guys, my mobo was strucked by lightning. I assume it is because the ethernet port can't function after that. So, i bought another one and i can on9 again But somehow, my cpu keeps acting strange. It keeps hanging after 2 or 3 days on (i'm 24/7) Sometimes when i'm listening to music, it won't continue to play, stuck at a certain part like it is hanging. I'm using jet audio. I can guarantee is not Jet Audio problem because it didn't give me the problem last time. Also, when i'm playing games, it will hang halfway, or sometimes hang a bit during gameplay

So, i though might be oc problem, then i try running at stock speed, everything at STOCK. But, it still hang, and worse, it hangs during i play supreme commander!!! Loading time also damn slow.....

Everytime when i reset the mobo, it will show some msg like, "default speed detected", "CMOS checksum error" my ram is capable at running at 667mhz, but it help me to reset back to 533mhz. My clock will not be accurate after tat. I changed my CMOS battery to a brand new one b4, it still happens. And the funny thing is that, usually when it hangs more than 3 times, it will stuck b4 the "Loading Windows XP" screen, it just shows nothing. So, i hv to reset the CMOS jumper. Man, is a like routine after 2 or 3 days

I really confuse wat happen. Wat on earth is happening? Issit because of my motherboard? Or my processor? I suspect is this two cuz i've changed my gc and ram b4, it still the same. I've passed my warranty time, so can't take it back anymore.

I've scanned using anti-virus, anti-spyware, defrag, and format b4. It still occurs. It really pisses me off the keep reset the CMOS jumper. So can any1 tell me wat is going on? Thanks in advance for ur help

CPU hangs a while during windows

Hi guys, i encountered 2 problems here, mind to help me out? Thx in advance

1) My pc continuously hang for about 30 sec to 1 min recently, esp when i'm playing mp3 v jet audio. The time will just stop there as well. For example, i reset the time to 12.00pm, current should be 1.00pm, but it still stuck at 12.30pm, slowing for 30min. It happens quite often recently. If the pc doesn't hang, the clock is accurate. I notice sometimes when hang, i can open "My Computer" and other stuff in the desktop, but can't execute a program. Also, when playing mp3, the music will hang. It will always play back to the last track number it hanged. So, repeating the same thing. After a while, is ok. I notice this error after i change my kingston value ram to crucial ballistix tracer pc-6400, i doubt the ram is the problem but it just fine in other aspect. I ran 3dmark, all ok. I oc my e6300 (1.86ghz to 2.6ghz) I ran orthos blend test for 3 hours is fine. Btw, i also scan v kaspersky 6.0 v up-to-date defination and ad-aware 2007. It turns out just fine!

2) After changing my ram, my bios seems like can't record the current vdimm. For example, after i set my vdimm to 2.2v, when after save and exit, and return to the bios, it records as 2.00v(default) But when i go to the monitoring section, it shows 2.2v, but if i didn't change anything AND "save and exit" it will go back to 2.0v I didn't hv this problem when using the kingston value ram. It will remain and show the voltage i changed.

I can't test the back the value ram because currently is not at my place. So, anyone has any idea wat is wrong v my pc? Hope sifus can help me here. Thx in advance once again
