How do you secure (theft prevention) your NAS?

Hi all... I need your opinion/advice.

Recently, I managed to setup a NAS in my home network using WD My Cloud. I use it to store all my data. I also attach an external HDD to do daily backup. But my concern is, how do I secure the device especially against theft?

I'm thinking of putting it inside a safety box. However most safety boxes are lacking of cable holes and ventilation, making this impractical. I have googled everywhere for ventilated safety deposit box with ventilation fan but failed to find any.

Do any of you know of such product? If not, how do you secure your NAS against theft? Please help.

Voice modem with caller ID recommendation

Hi guys,

I am planning to use my PC as telephone answering machine. That means, I need a voice modem installed in my PC and plug in the phone line to the modem so that when some call my phone, I can see who is calling and answer it using my existing headset. I am sure this is not new idea and should be very common practice, but I couldn't find the right modem.

The modem must has Caller ID capability and I prefer internal (PCI) modem.

The most common modem I can find in Malaysia is TP-Link Modem Dial UP 56K TM-IP5600, but I am not sure it can supports Caller ID or not.

Anyone can help? Thanks.
