MS SQL 2008: Query Concurrency

I am having some problem here.

I have 2 tables, A and B. In my store procedure, there is 2 Select statement.

1. A is inner join with B to get the total amount and the ID based on the latest ID in B (Select Top 1)

2. Second select would only select the Top 1 from B based on the same criteria as in A to get ID.

The 2 select suppose to return me the same ID. My first execution on the store procedure at the time for example 2:28:15: 0000001 provide me the correct result with both ID same. There are some other operations on the table itself too, thus table A and B will change. But 2nd execution on the same store procedure at the time for example 2.28:15: 0000030 gave me different ID.

How different? In 2nd execution, first SQL gave me the same ID like in the 1st execution which would be wrong, but 2nd sql gave me the latest ID. The 1st sql suppose to give me latest ID.

I'd used the Service Audit to check and confirm that the first execution finish first , then start the 2nd store proc execution.

What would be the possible problem for this?

I have been searching through the internet for the solution. I am not sure whether it's Julian Date or Gregorian Date. I have this 946661346 as my date time. The researcher put it that way in the database and I need to convert that to date and time. Any information on that conversion. I searched code project but to no avail. Thank you.
