memory usage before and after sleep

I wondered if anyone else has similar situation where RAM usage is decreased after putting the pc to sleep. In my case, after starting up the pc, RAM usage is around 1.xxGB , and after making it sleep and waking it up, RAM usage becomes 7xxMB-8xxMB. If I didn't put it in sleep mode, the usage never decrease to that amount. any ideas?

does anyone have similar problem when connecting samsung galaxy mini 2 to pc? such as when selecting transfer mode on the device "my computer" becomes unresponsive, and KIES takes forever to load, and the process itself cannot be killed, and it stops Windows from successfully logging off, shutting down, or restart.

Sapphire HD 6870 1GB bios

Hi everyone. My hd 6870 showed some graphical corruptions in BIOS and in windows. long before that fan control ceased to function so when I looked it up on GPU-Z fan speed percentage displayed around 3x% but the RPM was like full speed and it made a really loud sound as if as it was under heavy load when actually it wasn't. I thought it was okay for having the fan run full speed all the time. Then I started to overclock my cpu to increase performance in emulation games, to some point that a couple of lock ups, bsod and graphical corruptions in windows (I never overclocked my graphics card though). In the end the graphical corruptions even showed up before POST where you can see the motherboard logo page if you turned that on, and in BIOS setup where the some of the text turned into unreadable symbols. after logging on to windows, there was only black blank screen, nothing else, not even mouse pointer. I switched to onboard graphics and it turned out okay. I suspected either the GPU or RAM is busted or maybe both, however I tried to assume that maybe the graphics card's bios is corrupted, so I grabbed one of those on techpowerup and flash it without backing up the original bios. It didn't help. Then I came across some tutorials on the net about baking graphics card that is broken in oven. I'd like to try that maybe it will revive my HD 6870. the warranty is over though, I bought it on May 2011. I called the store in lowyat, he said just hand in the card maybe they can check something with it. I don't feel like going though for sure there will be no replacement and I'm not residing in KL. so before I attempt to bake the card I'd like if possible to have original bios so that if I succeeded than I won't have any problem the bios may cause such as bsod or driver problem.

so for those who have the same SKU and PN for Sapphire HD 6870 if you don't mind can u give me your bios(es)
here is my SKU # 11179-09
pn # 299-3E174-020SA
