How to extract files from dead laptop

Hi guys, my laptop died.

Need some files from inside. My plan:
1. Unscrew laptop and take hardisk out.
2. Use some cable or adapter to transfer file to my other desktop

My question:

What adapter I need to do this via USB? Can buy from hardware shop? If yes, how much estimated?

Hi I am planning to buy a bike for short distance use, mainly to run errands around my home and to go to work, I'd say 8-10km per way. Can anyone recommend me a reasonable yet easy to ride bike with a budget of 4.5k to 5k? Since my wife will also use it, preferably one that is not too high coz she is not so tall.

Lenovo z500 reformat probs

Hi iam currently having some probs with my laptop. It just doesnt run smooth and hangssfter 10 mins of turning on.

Tried to reformat using the system recovery function but it just shows the Lenovo word and hangs there without actually doing any reformatting to factory settings?

I could not find any cds in the laptop box to reformat. Is there any other way of doing this? Or its just time to buy a new one?

Mom too busy with her smartphone

My mom been taking fb and her smartphone too seriously. She is too occupied with her phone and could not let it go even for 15 minutes when we dine together at the dining table. She will be holding and looking at her smartphone on one hand and holding the spoon on the other.
