Loose powder at reasonable price?

Hello! I'm looking for advice on purchasing a reasonably good loose powder. I have almost little to no knowledge about loose powders, so please be patient with me. ☺

As far as I've known, I do not have any skin allergies and I have normal/oily skin. I was looking for the Maybelline Shine Free Loose Powder (or any Maybelline loose powder) in stores but was surpsrised not to see any of them although there were plenty different types of pressed powders. Now I am open to any brand as long as it is reasonably priced, say, less than RM50, if it exists.

Cheers! 😊

Computer repair services in Tasmania, AUS?

Hi there, I'm about to go to Tasmania for my studies, and I'm thinking of either upgrading my Dell Inspiron 14R OR buying a new laptop before returning to Australia. My reason for upgrading to a better laptop is because I need it for my studies.

My main concern now is the computer service. I've never used any computer service when I was studying in Tasmania, but now I'm taking this into consideration if ever anything bad happens to my laptop while I'm there. For instance, if my Dell laptop were to malfunction and requires repair work, will Dell services be able to come to where I live (in Launceston) to fix it?? The same goes for a Lenovo or Asus laptop. And probably the Macbook too. (I've never owned an Apple product, neither any other brand besides Dell in terms of laptop)

Do I need warranty transfer for laptop?

I bought this laptop last year & I'm going for my studies in Australia soon. Do I need to contact Dell to transfer my warranty to Australia? 'Cause previously I was told that all 3-year warranty plans cover as international warranty as well but there are others who tell me it's only the 3-year Next Business Day plan that is like that. My warranty plan is a 3-year Complete Coverage Program.

Also, I heard that immigration checks are pretty strict over there especially for electronic devices. Should I bring my invoice for the laptop along with me? Is there anything else I need to bring to proof ownership of my laptop?

Need advice in choosing universities

Helloo there.

So I got my conditional offers rolled in from Uni. of Tasmania(UTAS), Uni. of South Australia(UniSA), Uni. of Adelaide and UNSW a few weeks ago to study Achitectural studies/design.

Initially I chose UTAS as my main preference because if I've gotten good marks enough I can get their international student scholarship award, plus the tuition fees and cost of living there is pretty low when compared to the other states.

But I get told how "kampung" Tasmania is and they advised me to go Adelaide (or Melbourne) instead. I have heard that Adelaide is very student-friendly (least that's how they promote themselves in edu fairs) and cost of living may not be cheap but it's considerably cheaper than Sydney. (and they have student fares for public transport?)

Then another thing that made me hesitate was accommodation. I already applied for accommodation from UTAS and currently waiting for response, but I don't know what to do when it comes to Adelaide. I remember UniSA or Uni. of Adelaide don't provide accommodation for students, instead they want you to find accommodation by yourself. So this was kind of a "turn-off" for me. (but I don't mind going through the hassle if someone's willing to guide me on this )

However, I really do want to have a good learning experience as well as a great environment to live in and have fun while keeping a low budget for the next five years I'll spend in Australia.

Any form of advice on the programme structure, standard of living and accommodation of UTAS and UniSA will be greatly appreciated.

Any word of good advice as well.

Advisable to buy a laptop/mobile phone in Australi

I'm planning to further my studies in Australia. In which state I am going to study in, I am not too sure of yet, but most probably Tasmania or Adelaide even though I've also applied to NSW.

Back to the question, is it advisable for an international student to purchase a laptop/mobile phone in Australia or should I get my own one first in my country then bring it over?

Because I'm worried about the electrical discharge and having to use a universal adapter if I were to buy from here first, but I also want to know whether is it better to buy in Australia. I know it could be a bit late to buy only after I'm there, but most importantly I'm looking at long-term benefits (the lesser the hassle, the better! )

Sorry if I wasn't clear with my question, hoped it was.
