Established beginning of 2018. chinese boss from Singapore. If anyone are looking for job in this company, below is my feedback on the career. (My wife worked in this company, not me)

My wife joined at Mar 2018 under probation of 3 months time. After 3 months which suppose to review my wife confirmation. My wife performance met their expectation but this Singaporean boss direct terminate my wife immediately for a reason, "COMPANY CUT BUDGET". What I'm trying to say is, you want to retrench your staff, atleast give 2 weeks notice for staff under probation. Give the employee sometime to seek for next job. And my wife not the only one who faced this. There is another sales person terminated by this singaporean boss after 2 weeks blame her for not paying effort to do sales? 2 weeks? regardless how good a employee is, still need atleast some grace period(1 month is reasonable imho) to adapt company culture, marketing plan and vision.

This singaporean boss is very cunning, when he want to recruit you, he will show you a very sincere face and who knows he already plan to dispose you on your last day of probation so he no need to compensate anything and continue to look for next victim.

So, conclusion, whoever thinking to work for this company. Think carefully.

[HELP]Network cable faulty

Hi to all master, I have a issue with my newly conceal network cable in the wall. I just moved into the house, during renovation, i had bought 2 cat5e cable for my contractor help me to conceal it to the wall from my pc room to the living hall tv console area. Last week when testing it using the unifi happy tv device and do realized that 1 of the cable is not functioning, I tried to plug it to my laptop, the light indicator not even blinking while the other 1 cable is functioning.

Sadly that I'm programming expertise but dumba$$ in network-infra . Can advise me what should check 1st for this problem? How to identify the root cause for this issue before I start buying all the stuffs for replacement. I hoping that wires are not broken inside **cross finger**. I dun think I can re-install another new cable into the wall, I scared it will impact to another 1 cable.

symptom:
1. plug-in network cable, light indicator not blinking.

Sharp LED TV !?!?!?

Hi to all the expert.

I'm going to buy a 46" sharp LED TV, however, for LC46LE820M already obsoleted according to the sales man. The latest replacement model are either LC46LE830M & LC46LE835M. Again according to the salesman he claimed 835 are internet enabled. And I went to do some research on this 2 model and realized that both almost same, 830M oso internet enabled.

What are the benefit of having internet ready for TV? As far as I know TV dun have browser.

my usage for the TV:
1. watch HD movie included blueray
2. play ps3 game
3. able to wired or wireless connect to my pc and stream movie from there.

Please give me some advise. Thank you

- 4"x6" powder coated window
- 18"x5" plaster ceiling RM 15,500.00

cement kitchen table top RM 4,480.00
extended kitchen cement roof top convert to balcony RM 3,900.00

expensive or normal? haven't include the permit from DBKL.

Hi everyone, this is what happened. I was staying with my elder brother(I called him "animal" now) in my parent house for over 20yrs. During his age 25 until now 34, he is jobless and all the while getting money from my parent. In some point, he conned my parent to sign some legalize document to transfer all my parent assets to him which these all my parent last resource. In total 400k cash + current my parent house(500k). My mother fed-up enough and flied to US work as illegal worker again(she is age 57 now). And my parent house left me, my father and that animal stay together.

Since that animal took all the money included transferred the house to his name, he is the big boss of the house now. Inaddition lucky I bought a new house but now my house just starting renovation(no water and eletric supply), estimate will be completed during march this year. And this is what happened, on monday while I went out to work, that animal called a moving house and 3 big size guys come to my parent house, the 3 big size guys force my father sit on the chair, and he start ordering ppl to break my door and pack all my stuff not in a gentle way and throw into the lori and move it to my new house(Please! my new house is under renovation not ready for living). At 1st, I tot that animal only want to chase me out of my parent house, but a moment later, 2 more lori coming to my new house as well, all the stuffs in the lori are belong to my father!!!! that means this animal chasing my father out of his own house which my parent works so hard to paid off the loan.

Before those barbarians leave, he threaten me that if i goto "cari pasal" to my brother, he will come and find me, I felt like my life are being threatening. Now should I log a police report? What else can I do? I just a common working man in the office. I feels so helpless now, not to mention about my father, it is very humiliation that he chased out by his own son from his own house.

[HELP] House build not according to the S&P

Hi to all, I have some problem with the property i bought last year. I need some expertise advice.

The story is like this. My house is 18x65. And In the floor plan, there are 5 feet space for the backyard. And my house got 2 type. Differences between these 2 type is Type A backyard got CONCRETE STEP due to the slope landscape so the selling prices is RM297++ and Type B backyard is totally flatted without any CONCRETE STEP and the selling prices is RM313++. In contrast RM15k different for the step. So I picked the Type B.

And right now, my house is ready, and i noticed my house backyard oso got concrete steps too which is not like what i expected. I sent a complaint letter to developer and they replied me that "The land is sloppy, and concrete step is necessary and they said according to the S&P, it is subject to change by Authority or site condition.

They try to BLAME the sloppy land. Im thinking the selling point for Type A and Type B is the backyard. And I pay RM15 more just want to get a flat backyard. And now I feels like they cheating my money.

All I want to know is there any solution/parties/specialist who can help me get back this RM15K due to actually I bought the Type A house.

DB replication discussion.

Heh guys, i bet many of us heard or did MySQL replication before. But that is for MySQL -> MySQL. Have any of you done cross-db replication? I'm doing a R&D on replication for DB2 & MySQL. I google for it, either i have to buy 3rd party tool to do it or code my own java module to collaborate it. Or just come out some perl or shell script to do CUD.

Struggling now. Develop a module to cater this is very time wasting and bad performance issue. Any idea?

Anyone tried use opensource workflow engine before? can recommend some? So far i had tried "apache ODE" and "apache CAMEL". But according to my studied, "apache CAMEL" not consider a workflow engine? I need some expertise guide me.
