House porch with very steep slope

Hi all,

My current house have a very steep slope car porch, we can't use it for anything except for parking our cars there and even that it is too slippery. Anyone have any good ideas or design that can provide me a visual so that i can correct my house.

Hi all,

I have absolutely no experience in renovation at all but I just bought a really really old house used to be rented out and the tenants don't really take care of the place so have to recheck and check all the things. Below are the wish list I had build and compiled with the people that is going to stay with me in this house.

Number Description

Upstairs:
1 Top floor to have 3 rooms (as original).
2 Top floor rooms to have the extra 10 feet extension, so the room walls will remain as where it is now
3 No sun roof/glass roof for bed rooms (Fearing heat) Unless there is a way to reduce the heat. Possible to explore for toilets.
4 Upstairs toilet to explore horizontally or vertically placed in between the rooms (more sun light to the rooms)
5 To explore widen doors
6 Extended grills for plants to be placed on the grill. The view of the back room windows is sliding window then plants then grill then outside world.
7 To explore how much is to have stairs to attic
8 To explore how much is it to make another room at the attic
9 Check water tank still can be used or not
10 Masterbed room toilets need to be widen
11 Masterbed room toilet bowl to have its individual small private room
12 Masterbed room to have walk in wardrobe
13 Masterbed room toilet to have 2 sink
14 Masterbed room toilet to have shower room
15 Masterbed room toilet to have bathtub
16 Bathtub to have natural light coming in (frosted glass or any other ideas to get natural sunlight to come into the toilet)
17 Masterbed room window to be larger then standard size window for more light coming into the room
18 Explore how to make it break in resistant from the roof

Downstairs:
1 Front walls to be straighten
2 Relook into the position of the front door
3 To have a designated shoe area and or cabinet as well
4 To explore to have no pillar in the middle of the house at the car porch
5 To remove the arch at the porch
6 To have a wide gate for 2 cars
7 Human size side gate if possible.
8 Human size side gate to have magnetic lock and RFID locking
9 2 full size car parking area side by side
10 To explore security doors to be in place for the front and back of the house
11 To have 1 Kitchen for wet and dry cooking
12 The kitchen to have usable island
13 Extended grills for plants to be placed on the grill. The view of the Kitchen window is sliding window then plants then grill then outside world.
14 Toilet to be relocated to the back or middle side of the house in order to make the house looks bigger and more spacious
17 Washing machine and dryer room
18 To have a washing and dryer air exit hole
19 Washing machine to have water intake and water out hole
21 Water filter with extendable water disposing host (Hidden to be optional)

Overall:
2 Plaster Ceiling
3 Is there water pump in the house?
4 All electrical wiring needs to be looked at
5 All water pipes needs to be looked at
7 Ceiling Fans to be placed in all rooms
8 Explore KATO walls
9 Check for leakages
10 Wired CCTV for outside back lane and front porch/front gate
11 CAT5e or CAT6 cabling
12 Alarm cabling
13 White ants services
14 All toilet tiles up till the roof

Decided not to have:
1 Check how much to have 3 phase electrical wiring
16 Living Room to have TV
15 Dinning Room
6 Explore LED lighting
20 Kitchen to have build in microwave, oven,
22 To explore whether we can get rid of the small steps from the living hall going to kitchen or not by elevating the living hall. Replacing the steps at the front door before entering the door.

USB connected Music device keep skipping

Hi all iPhone sifu's

I am experiencing this particular problem which is my iPhone4 connected USB cable and connect it to my iPhone compatible device for music it keeps skipping or it sounds like it is disconnect and connect disconnect and connect but i don't think it is disconnecting since the iphone is charging without interruption at all. I thought it was the device so i tried with my iPhone2g and iPhone3GS and both works without any problem at all. I tried with iPod and it is ok as well. The only thing i didn't try is using another person's iPhone4 and plug it in.

Have you all experience this before? Is my iPhone4 defective!?

Have anyone tried to this particular scenario:

iPhone location at Singapore
iTunes location at Kuala Lumpur

iPhone connect to Wifi then sync with iTunes remotely.

Is there such an app now?

Washing Machine & Dryer Stacking

Hey all anyone actually bought one of the brackets before for Washing Machine and the Dryer mounting on top of the Machine.

I heard they say there is a mounting Bracket Which makes it more stable. So far i don't see anywhere selling the model of Washing Machine i bought.

I bought an Electrolux Washing Machine and a Electrolux Machine Dryer.

Hi all,

I am currently using Windows XP 32bit with SP3.

but my iTunes 8 crash when boot.

The solutions that i tried:

1. Restarting the machine
2. Reinstalling itunes and QuickTime

It was working previously then suddenly all don't work anymore.
Reinstall also don't work now.

Hey i found there is Windows XP Pro 32bit and Windows Vista 32&64bit but no Windows XP Pro 64bit in the mail itunes download links.

I am currently using Windows XP Pro 64bit... cannot use itunes at all ah?

[WTA] LCD Monitor Repair

Hi everyone,

I have a DELL 24" LCD one of those pretty expensive ones. I accidentally drop it when I was shifting house and now there is a huge crack on the LCD. Is there such a thing as repairing LCDs and if there is where ah u all know besides DELL them selves?

Where do you find the HDD support for mobo's now adays? I can't find it in the manual.

my MOBO is GA-965G-DS3 from Gigabyte.

I know there is the System and change but I want my own customise Sounds. I have the mp3 ready already. Now i just need to know which folder to put into to get to select the new ringing for my SMS and alarm.

Hey anyone staying in Taman Tun Dr Ismail in KL (not Shah Alam)?

I wanna know is there any alternate ISP provider in this area. I am thinking of trying out new possibilities. I can't stand this Tm.nut nonsense anymore.

Even on a normal day in WOW standing at a place where it is deserted my ms is nearly 700+ till 1k ms (other players get 200-550ms). The most fun areas I can't go at all becasue it shoots up to 44000 ms till 165000 ms (You can say I am literally just standing there and everything froze).

I called them about it but they keep saying we have already provided 1MB line from your house to our server. Well they some how not going to provide 1MB line from my house to there server to international.
