TM Unifi or Maxis Fiber

Hi all,

Need your advise. Currently I'm sharing unifi old plan 30M (RM180) with my housemate. Contracts already ended.

Somehow, my housemate is moving out and I'm gonna to bear the fee on my own which is quite costly even though knowing that the existing plan will be turbo to 300M maybe?

Hence, I got only 2 choices, continue with Unifi 30M RM79/m with 60GB quota or switch to Maxis 30M RM89/m unlimited.

I'm quite satisfy with Unfi actually but the unifi lite plan is too weak if comparing to Maxis 30M package especially coming to the upload speed which capped at 5M. 60GB quota should be fine if I'm using it alone.

Hence, do u think that I should swapped to Maxis or chill with unifi first crossing finger that their unifi lite plan to be revised to be competent with Maxis plan?

Any news about this possibility?

Deae All,

May I know that what's the market price for dental braces(conventional method) in Selangor area? My budget is around Rm5k left right for the process.

Places like shah alam, pj, subang Jaya, puchong, klang are fine to me. Based on ur experience, which clinics u can recommend me?

I plan to have it in Perak which cost around rm5k in my hometown , but I'm not sure how often is it necessary for me to travel back.

If let's say Selangor area price also somewhere around this, then it's better for me to have it here.

Hardwiring Car DashCam to fuse box?

Dear All,

Just wanted to know, if I'm planning to hardwire my car dashcam to the fuse box, is it necessary for me to have the kits something like this?

I have a Toyota Vios 2nd gen, the cigarette socket is at the armrest there which I think not that good looking if I need to en route the wiring to the middle, that's why I'm thinking to hardwire to the fuse box instead.

At the same time, any recommended car workshop in Selangor areas like (Shah Alam, Puchong, Klang, Subang Jaya, PJ...) for such installation can intro to me? Thanks a lot!

Laptop Motherboad or Ram Issue

Dear all,

I have an Asus N53J laptop with the powering issue. As shown from the photo attached, there are a total of 4 rams slots. Let me describe the issue as follow:

a. when I insert the ram at slots 2 or 4, the laptop powers up and within 3 secs, it turn off

b. when the rams inserted at 1 or 3, the laptop power up, no display, power led is up, hdd led nope. It eventually heated up and cpu fan running loud then continue in power on state. Tried to connect to external display but no signal is transmitted.

c. when 4 rams inserted, same case as scenario (a)

So, can someone advice me what's the issue? Mobo problem or the 4 pieces of ram that caused the issue? I tried to clean the rams and slots using contact cleaner but no lucks. At the same time, anyone who knows nice laptop repairing service around shah alam or subang jaya or Puchong area? Much appreciated for your advices and help!

Headlamps Protection Film Yay or Nay

Just wanted to know does the car needs headlamps protection film as shown in the attachment?

The reason is that my car headlamps seems to have yellowish layer as in attachment and plan to fix it.

Somehow, some of my friends told me that the glue of the protection film will corrupt the headlamps cover and remain the glue marking there, so just wondering.

By the way, what is the usual cost for installation of headlamps protection film? Thank you!

As I have searched around, there are plenty of them but the price can be ranging from RM30-RM100. Jobs position in IT Networking field

Hi guys,

I'm a fresh graduate studying in IT Networking field with CCNA cert. Currently I'm looking for job positions in Singapore. Hereby, I may need some guides from seniors or anyone who involve in this field also.

Here's my doubts:

a. When I look for jobs posted in jobstreet, most of the positions(Network Engineer) requires at least 1 year of experience and some of the jobs requirements couldn't be full filled due to the lack of experiences. So may I know that should I proceed to apply this job even though knowing that I'm incapable for it in terms of technical skills?

b. At the same time, should I look for a Network Engineer position or support team instead as support team learns more?

c. Do you know any nice company which is IT Networking related in Singapore(priority) or Malaysia whereby I should be looking for?
