Mi Pad issues

Dear all,

I'm a photographer and I've just got a Mi Pad. The main reason of getting it is to replace my stolen MacBookPro that I would tether to when I do my shoots (It gives me instant view after clicking the shutter).

I've downloaded an app named "Dslr Dashboard" on my android phone and it works fine. It provides live view and comprehensive camera control from the phone but guess what? The app does not appear on Play Store of Mi Pad! So is some music download apps. Pening...pening...

I've read that some of you would 'root' your Mi Pad to boost it's performance and I would like to find out would 'rooting' my Mi Pad solve the problem? Are there people around providing this sort of service and what are the charges like? I'm sorry that I'm a bit of a nut in this area so your feedback is very much appreciated.

Dear all,

I hooked my long abandoned PS2 to the AV IN(composite) of a LED TV but it plays the disc in black and white only and the signal flickers a little. Funny thing is before the disc start playing the intro ("Sony Entertainment...") display is in color!

Anyone has any idea?
