Car rental in Thailand

Hi all,

I am planning to rent a car from Bangkok and go to Hua Hin and Khao Yai this coming November, is wondering Malaysian driving license is valid to use or not, or I have to apply the IDP.. I saw news stated that our license is valid but when I ask Hertz Bangkok, they say drivers have to show International driving license and passport when renting the car.

Anyone has experience renting car in Thailand before?

I am just afraid that if anything happen (accident), they won't let me claim

I just got wiring & plaster ceiling quotation from a guy

are those price reasonable? appreciate any input

and is it common that the price for plugs and switches are included in the wiring cost? or we have to buy our own plugs and switches?

I just visited a few units in Nilam Puri, i was offered 410k for a 1001sqft unit, had done some renovation and i would say the unit is the most well kept one out of all those units. is it worth it? Or i could get better with that kind of price?
