Acer Black Out problem

Can anyone please advice me on this?

Acer Aspire 5563 NWXMi suddenly blacks out. PC was switched on for nearly an hour and wasn't running heavy duty programs. Switched it on and tried running Win Media Player -black out again. Next time it blacked out even before any folders could be opened.

PC was running on AC. Checked the Acer ePower Management. The 'Turn off Hard Disk' option was set to 5 minutes. Does this affect the problem? But, haven't had these sudden black outs before this.
