(WTA) Using Runkeeper

Hello Guys,

I started mild jogging last week and installed runkeeper to keep track of my progress and distance.

Now, i'm having problem with my GPS signal on Samsung Galaxy S2 and the gps couldn't record my distance and progress in runkeeper because gps signal cannot lock the satellite to track my progress.

I have tried troubleshooting my S2 such as factory reset, reinstall app, install gps fix, gps tracker etc but still no avail & i suspect that my S2 may be hardware faulty which due for a change (no more warranty)..

So, i need fellow friends here some advice cos i need a device which can track my running progress, so need some recommendation on which would be suitable for me. I'm keen to maintain runkeeper and continue off with my saved progress on that app.

some options that i could think of:-

1. get a new smartphone
2. ipod nano (have nike+ app) but i think it's a waste as i rarely listen to music
3. gps watch (garmin / adidas) but quite costly
