[WTS] Victorinox Swiss Army Knives

Victorinox is a knife manufacturer headquartered in the town of Ibach, in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland, founded in 1884. Since 1891 the company has delivered knives to the Swiss army. Their famous emblem — a cross in a shield — has been used by Victorinox since 1909.

The Swiss Army knife is the product that has been the centerpiece of Victorinox's business. Originally the sole supplier, since 1908 it has shared the contract with Wenger. A compromise between the two companies gave Victorinox the right to advertise as the Original Swiss Army Knife, while Wenger lays claim to the title of Genuine Swiss Army Knife. Although both brands remain intact, Victorinox has since purchased and taken over Wenger in 2005.

Swiss Army knives are widely used outside the army. They are useful multifunctional instruments for everyday life and are available in a wide variety of sizes and functional combinations. Even NASA astronauts have a Victorinox knife as standard equipment. Victorinox knives have also been taken to Mt. Everest and the Arctic. The flagship model of Victorinox, the SwissChamp, is in the New York Museum of Modern Art's Permanent Design Collection. There is also an active Swiss Army Knife modding community, producing new models from cannibalised parts.

For more pictures and reference, visit the official manufacturer's website: VICTORINOX

All sales are conducted on Pre-Order basis: Customers must pay the price in full upon ordering.
Pictorial: Dell XPS M1210 LCD Exchange

Due to demand brought about by increasing business assignments, I decided to buy a laptop. and after much deliberation finally decided on Dell's latest offering and bought this Dell XPS M1210 around mid April 2007. Was purty pleased with its performance.

this is the lappie, still pristine:

Then about middle of this month, it had an unfortunate encounter with my 2 year old sack of joy:

and my daughter emerged victorious.... as for the lappie: its LCD was shattered into pieces!

after getting advises from LYN's Dell XPS M1210 Support Thread I called the XPS 24x7 hotline and they promised to send over a technician to have the LCD replaced. and until then had to use it this way:

To be continued...

B2B - Shipping Method for Overseas Purchase

Guys, I've just started an online store under a dropship program selling arts, crafts and scrapbook materials, tools and accessories. the thing is almost all of the materials are taken from a wholesaler in the USA. everytime I receive an order, I'll forward the order to them and they'll prepare the package for delivery straight to the customer, so they'll invoice me on the products + shipping.

however, the shipping method used, USPS Express Mail, which cost me a bomb... Of course its reliable, trackable and insured, but its eating up my profit. despite the high margin from the dealer's discounted pricing, my bottomline is drastically reduced by high shipping cost and import & sales tax.

So I need to find ways to cut down my cost to make it worthwhile. is there any service or company that i can engage from Malaysia that can offer service to pickup the stuff directly from the supplier and bring it over?
