Hospitalisation - company vs personal insurance

Hello All

Would like to see if anyone has experience on Hospitalisation claims via insurance?

Company hospitalisation max is rm50k
Personal hospitalisation is way moreeee

Current situation:

Have been seeing specialist and doctor using company AIA, most probably will need to go for operation. If the cost of operation exceed rm50k that covers by company AIA, is it possible for me to utilise my personal insurance coverage (GE) to pay for the remaining cost?

I know is do-able, but GE insurance agent advise to self-pay the remaining cost then submit claim to GE.

Is there a way for exmaple for me to request GL via GE so that automatically GE will covers whatever remaining cost from the operation?

We all know, paying from own pocket first and claim, might take long to get money back from insurance company

MBSA permit to re-do car porch

Hello everyone

I renovated my house (back and car porch area) like 14 years back. I applied for MBSA permit and followed all the procedures that time.

Move forward, now the wall of my car porch started to show sign of hairline cracks and my car porch tiles too. And i am thinking to re-do my car porch.. just by re-doing the floor and the wall. No further alterations.

Asked the renovation contractor, was told no permit required as there is no alteration involve, just basically re-do it and the whole thing will take like 2 weeks.

Tried calling MBSA but getting passed from one to another and couldnt get to the appropriate department.

Anyone done the same before for houses under MBSA? Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam

Tempted to go with the smallest unit, need 4 years to complete.
Next to Asia Jaya LRT station, basically they will take down the gerai makan and the empty car park land besides Mansion Copper.

Got two dwarf puffer about two weeks ago, and i'm wondering.. anyone out there knows how to differentiate the gender of puffer?

Not sure the two that i have is FF, MM or FM
