These dramatic images show three Muslim siblings attempting to kidnap and rob their sister's lesbian lover after they found out about the relationship.

Sarah Harrison was dragged by her hair and repeatedly punched as three of her girlfriend's sisters tried to bundle her into the back of acar.

They also threatened her with a blade and stole the 35-year-old's handbag in a bid to find out where their sister was staying.

Tamoor Ditta, 26, was jailed for six years for conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm, attempted kidnap, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and battery.

Ghazala Ditta, 31, was sentenced to five years, four months for conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm, attempted kidnap and robbery. Atfah Ditta, 32, was given five years, 4 months imprisonment for conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm, attempted kidnap and robbery.
Nighat Morris, 39, was jailed for five years, four months for conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm, attempted kidnap and robbery

Tosif Ditta, 34, was sentenced to three years, six months for conspiracy to commit actual bodily harm.

Nayyar Mehmood, 38, was given three years, six months imprisonment for conspiracy commit actual bodily harm.

Responsibility of parents

Parents should be able to provide the following for the kids :

a) College funds , without burdening the kids with PTPTN.
b) Insurance from when the children are born, in case their kids develop some sickness which disqualify them for insurance coverage in the future.

If you or your parents did not provide either one of the above, they are useless and don't deserve to be parents.

MB Terengganu going to antarctica

PETALING JAYA: The DAP today questioned the purpose of Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said’s 15-day visit to Antarctica beginning tomorrow, asking how the trip could benefit Malaysia, let alone Terengganu.
“What business does the Terengganu Menteri Besar have in Antarctica which justifies a jolly cruise to the Antartica?” asked DAP’s publicity secretary Tony Pua in a statement.
Ahmad Said had announced that he will lead a Malaysian delegation’s 15-day visit to Antarctica beginning Saturday.
A statement from the Menteri Besar’s Office said the working visit “is initiated towards enabling Malaysia contribute to research on climate change which has become increasingly unpredictable.”
However Pua wanted to know how the “15-day jolly luxury cruise” was going to benefit Malaysia.
“If Malaysia has scientists involved in climate change, they would be better served studying the impact of climate change through massive deforestation happening in our country.
“Why should we be spending any tax-payers money at all to “research” an area where we have no competitive advantage?” he asked.
He further said that even of local academics were interested in the study of climate change in Antarctica, why should the MB be given a “beautiful tour of faraway Antarctica at tax-payers expense”?
“Even worse, he isn’t even the country’s minister of Science and Technology, or the minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
“He is the Menteri Besar of a state who has no business gallivanting in the unpopulated South Pole,” added Pua.
He said the MB had no excuse to go to the land of penguins in Antarctica on claims that it was for a trade mission to draw foreign investment or to attract tourists.
Pua said a conservative estimate of the tour for a delegation of 20 people would cost the state about RM1 million without taking into account other side tours and expenses.
“Ahmad has no right to abuse the rakyat’s money on such extravagant junket trips when Terengganu remains the poorest state in Peninsula Malaysia after Perlis and Kelantan.
Pua added that Ahmad must give a full account of the expenses of the trip and provide a full report on its benefits to Malaysia, and particularly to the state of Terengganu.

Activists in Wuhan block truck carrying 2,800 cats headed for Guangxi

Activists in Wuhan on January 14 blocked off a truck carrying more than 2,800 cats that were headed to Nanning, Guangxi, reportedly to be sold to restaurants for their meat. Traffic police intercepted and ordered further investigation of the driver, surnamed Liu, who had a fake quarantine license for the cats.

The protestors blocked off the truck all night before 30 more activists rushed to the scene as reinforcements on January 15. Until 6 p.m., volunteers and the owner of the truck were still in a stage of stalemate. A spokesperson for the Animal Protection Association Center in Wuhan said that there was no way to take in all of the 2,800 cats but that they should be rescued and properly placed.

Jiangxia district animal quarantine authorities so far have put this batch of cats on withholding, Jiangxia district animal health supervision director Ren said.

At the end of last November, some 600 cats were saved in Shanghai's Putuo district after a man attempted to transport them in small crates from his truck and sell them for fur and meat.

In that case, the cats were taken by various volunteers and adoption centers or released into cat-friendly compounds.

Moyes slams 'scandalous' decision

David Moyes launched an outspoken attack on referee Howard Webb and said it was "scandalous" and "incredible" he did not award Manchester United a penalty and send off Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in Spurs' 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

Moyes also revealed after the game that he may have to omit Wayne Rooney in future matches to allow the striker to recover from a groin injury.

The United manager was furious that Lloris escaped unpunished for an 86th-minute challenge on winger Ashley Young. And an angry Moyes claimed it was one of the worst decisions he had ever seen and said he despaired of United's chances of getting a penalty again this season.

He said: "It was scandalous. If you follow through on a player anywhere else on the pitch with your foot high, it would be a sending off and a red card. You couldn't do that anywhere else. It's an incredible decision which didn't go our way. In fact, it is probably the one of the worst I think I saw."

Webb, who refereed the World Cup final in 2010, has long been incorrectly accused of supporting United but Moyes added: "All I can tell you is that is a stonewall penalty kick. If that isn't given a penalty kick, I don't think we will get any more in the league this season.

"You can't give him the benefit of the doubt at all: it is reckless, it is late, it is in the penalty box. I don't know what else you can say. You'd hope the people who put the referees out there would have a look at it and look to see if they think the referees are doing as well as they can be."

Tottenham head coach Tim Sherwood also felt that Young could have earned a spot kick, saying: "I haven't seen it back but at the time I thought it was a penalty."

Moyes has reprimanded Young for diving already this season and the United manager was asked if he feels the England international is suffering because of his reputation.

He added: "That is for the referee to decide. That certainly wasn't the case for this."

Moyes was also annoyed that Webb cautioned United's teenage midfielder Adnan Januzaj for diving, saying: "Have you seen that decision? That is a terrible decision. The boy has bumped Adnan off the ball."

Meanwhile Rooney, who sat out Saturday's 1-0 win against Norwich, returned for Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham but his injury ills are far from over. And with United chasing the game after going 2-0 down, Moyes had no option but to keep the England international on the pitch for the full game.

He said: "The plan was to play Wayne 90 minutes. He has got a bit of a groin injury but the longer it went on, we had to try and get more attacking players on the pitch to try and find more ways to score. The games are coming thick and fast. He has missed a couple of games with his groin and may well miss some more in the games coming up."

Moyes said it was too soon to know if Robin van Persie, who has missed the last six games, will be fit to return for Sunday's FA Cup tie against Swansea. But he defended his players for their performance against Tottenham, even as they lost at Old Trafford for the fourth time this season.

He added: "I thought the team played really well. We didn't play badly today. We deserved to win and if not win it, at worst [we deserved] a draw."

Moyes insisted the defeat, which leaves United 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal, will not have any impact on whether he spends in the winter transfer window. He said: "The result today would never have any effect on what we do, whether in January or the summer. It wasn't our day but it won't change the way we go about our business."
