Best Mobile Broadband in SS2

Hi all, I have a telco dilemma that I hope you Sifus and pros can help out with -

I am moving into a residential property (Atria) which runs on commercial rates - hence unifi will be unaffordable at business rates.

Therefore I am considering to use mobile broadband as a substitute. Do you all know which mobile broadbands run fastest in SS2?

I have tried experimenting and sampling networks by buying a umobile and a digi sim (prepaid on my phone) and tethering them to my lappie, but both seem quite slow (on 4G) when I try to load youtube etc.

So

1. Which mobile broadband network/package will you recommend?
2. Will the speed on a Mifi router be faster than my phone?

Any help will be much appreciated

International Schools Penang vs KL

Hey guys, I have a family member wanting to send their kid to international school in Malaysia, aiming to study in a US college/uni after.

There are many international schools in Penang and even more in KL.

May I know the different considerations that I should take into account when choosing between international schools in both locations? (which has better quality/study life/better uni prospects)

Thanks in advance

Lawyers Assemble!

It's been awhile since there has been a thread here for those in legal careers.

For the practising lawyers:

Where are you currently working? What is the salary/ work environment/ prospect at your current firm?

Any lawyers working overseas?

For prospective lawyers:
Where do you plan to start your pupillage? What areas do you plan to venture into? How to survive with the pitiful pupillage allowance?

Hey everyone, did anybody else apply for this scholarship?

My current status is "screening".
Overseas Graduate Jobs

Hey guys, a fresh law graduate here, and I bet many graduates have came upon this question at least once - now that I have a degree, what job options overseas are available for me to me?

Many MNCs offer multidisciplinary graduate schemes for Malaysians to work here in Malaysia, but does anyone know of similar choices overseas that are open for foreigners? I am not too picky about the specific field, after all graduate schemes are meant to train you for the job at hand.

A change of environment + the experience of living overseas is something that I am quite drawn to. I also hope that having a good grasp of English, Chinese and Malay opens up some doors overseas, being trilingual is a very powerful advantage we Malaysians have indeed

So back to the question, does have experience of applying/ being offered a place on a graduate scheme overseas? I wonder which countries have stricter work visa requirements, and which are more accepting of foreigner talents..

And Fresh grads who share my mindset/queries, do chip in your thoughts here and we'll get a discussion going!
