MV Agusta returns to Malaysia with AFY Mobility, motorcycles to be assembled locally in Shah Alam

MV Agusta Malaysia has been appointed the sole and exclusive distributor of MV Agusta motorcycles in the local market. The newly formed company is a subsidiary of AFY Mobility and is responsible for the sales and distribution of MV Agusta motorcycles, parts, merchandise and special parts in Malaysia.

The motorcycles will be locally assembled at the AMI plant and training facility in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. In statement, Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motor said this new partnership marked the consolidation and the expansion of the MV Agusta presence in South-East Asia.

AFY Mobility was recently reported to be involved in project with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) to produce a Malaysian motorcycle brand and making Malaysia a global motorcycle assembly hub. MV Agusta was last represented in Malaysia by DNC Asiatic, a collaboration that lasted less than two years before the firm shut down its operations and told staff to resign in May 2018.

The Varese, Italy firm with its chequered financial history was also represented by Mofaz Motosikal and Chear Motor in 2016 before the switch to DNC Asiatic. The MV Agusta brand has a long history with Malaysia, previously being owned by Proton Holdings and purchased at a price of RM500 million in 2003, before being controversially sold for RM4 to Gevi SpA in 2006.

so how they do it?

every digital odometer, there's an eeprom chip that stores the 'mileage'
they desolder the chip, and reprogram it using a computer,
it is no big secret.. ' how to do it '

some newer car/bike, can use special obd tool/software n reader to do it.

Handle wobble during deceleration

Hi guys,

can you test your bikes to see whether this phenomenon occurs.

This is not high speed wobble or tank slap.

It happens when the bike is decelerating @ low speed, like below 60kmh.

You have to take your hands off the handle bar to check, if you are holding it, you might not feel it.

It happens only at a certain speed range, sometimes very narrow range.

Ive tested the kapchai on flat smooth road.

It happens around +- 50kmh during decelaration.

I bought these cat food for my adopted stray kitten.
After consuming some, found it not suitable, so test other brand of food,

1 prodiet is low cost brand, but it does not have colourings like friskies, and other cat food.
better than whiskas kibble which contain soft substance in the kibbles.

2. Blisk is new in market, kibble looks very natural, without colourings, smells very good, strong fish smell
like expensive kibbles. worth to try it on your kitty cos low cost as well.

3. Eureka - better ingredient than other kibbles at the same price range. Natural looking kibbles, good aroma.

4. Brit - one of the better cat food, with no by products, defined protein source, limited ingredient, small kibble size,
good aroma, i rate it better than royal canin and black wood original, in terms of ingredient. u can get rm 13.57 / kg if u buy big pack.

Motorcycle Parking in Malaysia

Hello bikers wherever you are in Malaysia.

Please share motorcycle parking facilities information in buildings, shopping complexes, public places etc

give comments, price of tickets, entry points etc. TQ

Msia have a fair amount of motorcyclist, the government wants to have less car going into the city center

but i find that in most buildings/public places, motorcycle parking is still lacking, difficult to locate, not enough parking

space, parking location is too far away etc.

We will compile a list of places with the parking charges, and some direction or guidance.
