Photography for Real Estate, Property and Interior

Hi there,

I'm curious about photography for real estate, property and interior in Malaysia. Would love to hear from agents, landlords and buyers.
Actually I'm a photographer - mainly do photography and design for commercial.
I was asked by a friend of a friend to shoot pictures of his penthouse in Mont Kiara last year to put on sale.
He said about difficulties to find a good interior photographer and he refused to use crappy pictures to advertise his property.
And then I also looked for houses in iproperty for myself. I found out pictures posted there are below average and many of them probably taken by phones even
for expensive units. That's how I get the idea to do photography for property and interior.

From my experience in searching house for myself, units with nice photos easily caught my attention.
I shot pictures of a property (dealt with the Australian owner) and less than a month, someone moved in. It might be wrong but relate to my experience, I believe the pictures somehow helped to attract people's attention before decided to visit the unit.

It happened last year that I met this lady, she's the boss of a property agency. She said it is mainly up to owners if they want to get professional
photography for their properties and how they are willing to pay. Unlike in overseas where agents have certain budget/fees for professional photography.
That's explain why the iproperty and other sites are flooded with crappy pictures.

I would like to offer my services if there are demands. But before I make a move to 'appear on the radar', I want to hear from agents and landlords (also buyers)
about photography for property and real estate.

Hi girls,

Is there anyone here who plays tennis? I'm looking for tennis buddies lah. I moved to KL 2 years ago and I don't have many friends here esp. who are sports active.

Since last year I started to play tennis. I am an intermediate level. I have my personal coach. I used to play almost everyday (2-3 hours every session) with my partner.

and now he's very busy and as a result, I do not have partner to play with.

So if you are interested to play tennis maybe we can try. Can come and play at my place.

Farmasi Color Cosmetics (FCC)

Farmasi Color Cosmetics (FCC)=
I've never heard about this product before. Until one day, my friend (she's a make-up artist) told me about this cosmetics. Some malay girls opt for this brand because it's halal. I was like...hurm??

Here's the story how I discovered this product. Please bear in mind that this is not a promo and I do not benefit anything or any cent from telling you this. I just want to share

My friend said the brand is quite famous among make-up artists. So I googled and searched about the product. Made in Turkey, they not only produce cosmetics but also skincare products.
Unfortunately I did not find an official website, proper product pictures and helpful information regarding the brand for Malaysia market. The more I searched, I found out that the brand is not bad though. The problem is they need to be exposed. To me it seems like they have nice stuff but somehow they failed in brand appearance.

Since I'm a photographer (and with my partner, we design and develop website), I approached the company to help them to come out with proper product pictures and an official website.

So... (cut the story) they agreed to work with me. From that, I learned more about the products and the brand. Actually I'm a hardcore user/fan of Revlon and Maybelline since ages. And I personally think FCC cosmetics are as same standard as Revlon and Maybelline. I'm begin to replace them with FCC stuff.

They company (FCC Malaysia) run by a bunch of awesome and good people. Nice working with them.

I have tried the product myself when they gave me for product shoot. They have this one cream (see picture) . Skin perfecting balm- color control (all in one). Oh, gawd... I love this cream. blends perfectly onto my skin. leaves no oily and flaky skin.

One thing i like about the products is that they use natural oils, fruit extracts and no chemical like smell/odour.

I think I wrote too long now. I repeat, I just want to share about this brand and I don't represent this company to promote it. I'm just a photographer and designer who are currently working with FCC.
I'm happy I found this brand and girls, maybe you should give it a try too..
