First day after the fuel price went up, somehow i felt there were lesser cars on the road..but i think that's probably wishful thinking on my part. I've been hearing rumours that the fuel will be increased again in the not so distant future.. true or not, we will have to wait and see..

I am just waiting to see how fast and how much more will the price of goods go up.. but I am sure most will learn to adjust. Balik nanti kena repair motor la nie.

For someone travelling through the jams of Kajang and Cheras... looks like i have to change my travel habits in order not to waste fuel. How about the rest of you out there, what are you guys doing?

Almera vs City vs Vios Comparison

Ha, for those trying to choose between the City and the Vios, this should be a good visual comparison. Both top end models the City 1.5 V and Vios TRD Sportivo are compared side by side. Almera just seems like a tag along...

Can't say much about the hosts in their second season but looks like it got better. There's a nice demo on the brakes and airbags and they carried the safety message really well.

Don't want to spoil the fun for Toyota and Honda fanboys but you have to see it for yourself. I hear Sam Loo screaming already

2014 Nissan Sylphy Video Walk - Around

This is cool, we have only seen the car in pictures but this video stirs the curiosity even better

First things I see is the car looks better than the previous gen Slyphy. The next thing I see is its bigger and resembles the new Teana.

Pity we wont get a 2.0 versions but looks like this one can give the Altis and Civic 1.8 some challenge. Check out the rear space..

Seriously looks way better than the previous generation..Nicely done Nissan!

New Mazda 2 inspired by Angry Birds?

I laughed when I saw this but i must say, the resemblance is there. And its really cute..Too cute not to share

Looks like the Angry Bird may be coming to Malaysia by year end according to this sos http://paultan.org/2014/03/05/mazda-2-new-malaysia/

I wonder how the Fiesta sales will react to this or any other cars in the same segment. Since it's still a concept, I dont think what we are going to get will be anything like this interns of kits and exterior specs but looking at how the Mazda 3 and 6 turned out, this Mazda 2 may end up looking really good like in the pics.

This is not new and I don't think it will end because everyone looks for opportunities to make extra money.

What I cannot tahan, is that some opportunitisc mechanics tend to take us for ride at our expense. Been through this myself with a fair share of experience.

Used to frequent a so called specialist mechanic for my car. No doubt he is a specialist and is knowledgable about a certain brand of car, this dude just took advantage of my situation. Got conned with marked up parts pricing and ridiculous labour charges for endless problems. Didn't really realise until a friend who knew about the cars pointed it out.

This came to mind when I saw this.. funny video but the memory of bad experience is not that funny.

For those hunting for independent mechanics especially first time owners of used cars with, should watch this.

CKD Polo Hatchback - Almost 30K Cheaper?

Seriously, reding about the CKD Polo, it was difficult to understand how the car can be so much cheaper byt almost RM30,000.

Looks at this lah...The new City launched in Thailand has got better safety features, VSA on top of two airbags.

Hopefully Honda Malaysia will offer same safety standards when they launch the new City here

i bet some of you especially Toyota fans will love this. Must say it looks better than the new Camry...wonder what drugs the Toyota designers were on when they designed the Camry.

Heavy disguise but the new grille is complemented by a fresh sporty design. No more frog smiley face!

Looks more like Mazda 6 hatch if anything.

Frankly speaking, anyone planning to compare this with the focus when it comes out will have a hard time choosing by looks..LOL

MG coming back to Malaysia

I thought MG would have completely been renamed by now but looks like the new Chinese owners decided to maintain the British heritage.

Here's a bit of news - Federal Auto is set to distribute MG Cars.

I dont know how to describe the MG design under it's new owners but it looks like they moved away from dapper british styling...or I could be wrong

BMW to create sub brand in China JV

Had mixed feelings when I read this - BMW to create sub-brand in China.

But then, thinking about it, why not? If the cars do get exported and come here, we may get to see BMW based models at an affordable price range - maybe under a weird name.

I am sure that although it's based on BMW engineering platform, it will not look anything like current or past BMW models.

This reminds me of the Mercedes and Ssangyong partnership for the Chairman and Musso Models..although the cars had Mercedes DNA in them, the design kept people at bay.

I wonder how the cars under BMWs China JV would end up looking like - The Chinese are getting creative with designs now..
